No connection in DomUs with network-route
Hi, I would like to know if somebody can point me out how to configure several DomUs in a private LAN (for example 192.168.100.0/24) and one DomU with two interfaces (one - 192.168.100.0/24 and two - internet). Recent hypervisor update on Debian Wheezy breaks domU networking
Hi, Firstly I apologise for the cross-post, however I don''t expect to get as quick a response from the package maintainers as I do from the Debian community, and this issue affects a service that I''ve got scheduled to go live at midnight this evening. :( A recent update from xen-hypervisor-4.1-amd64 version 4.1.3-7, to version 4.1.3-8 on Debian Wheezy has caused all

GPLPV, RDP and network latency
Hello! Has anybody experienced network latency problems with combination of Windows 7, GPLPV drivers and RDP connection? Any Windows pop-up message(such as "command not found" error message in "Run command:" dialog, or dividing by zero in windows calc) causes a short freeze of RDP session and looks like that from dom0: PING 192.168.44.65 (192.168.44.65) 56(84) bytes of data.

l2arc current usage (population size)
Hello, How do you tell how much of your l2arc is populated? I''ve been looking for a while now, can''t seem to find it. Must be easy, as this blog entry shows it over time: http://blogs.sun.com/brendan/entry/l2arc_screenshots And follow up, can you tell how much of each data set is in the arc or l2arc? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

What command lists everything in a package?
Hi, Two easy questions I''m sure. 1) As an example if I use the code require(zoo) then once it''s loaded is there a command that lists everything that zoo provides so that I can study the package? Certainly help(zoo) gives me some clues about what zoo does but I''d like a list. Maybe there''s a way to query something but in Rgui under Win Vista ls()

Interface Configuration
Hello, You may recall some of My Dmz question around Thanksgiving. While I have configured a Proxy arp Dmz. I would like to practice with the routed setup you suggested Tom as your network was simular. Here is one of your quotes "The configuration of eth2 is largely irrelevant but you certainly don''t want to confuse things by assigning any default gateway out of that

OT: How can I tell if a web site is now blocking IPs from my country?
I have always been able to browse, without any problems, http://www.mobile-review.com/index-en.shtml but for the past 2 or 3 days, Mozilla Firefox just hangs "connecting to ...." How can I tell if they have started blocking IP addresses from Colombia? I would like to do that, before I post to the IPCop mailing list. I have my IPCop box set up to do DNS Caching, so

The strange case of xen_netback not returning ARP replies
Hello, I''m facing a rather strange problem with the netback interface. My setup involves a netvm, which has some physical network interfaces assigned, and a client VM where a net front is running (exposed as eth0) and which is connected to that netvm (via vif42.0 interface, as seen in the netvm on the dumps below). Now, the netvm has two physical network interfaces assigned: 1) A

zpool iostat / how to tell if your iop bound
What is the best way to tell if your bound by the number of individual operations per second / random io? "zpool iostat" has an "operations" column but this doesn''t really tell me if my disks are saturated. Traditional "iostat" doesn''t seem to be the greatest place to look when utilizing zfs. Thanks, Chris -------------- next part --------------

Recommendation: Faster Can''t Help 2
I hope everyone is getting something out of these recommendations. Today''s recommendation comes from the "Damn Common Sense" dept. of advice. Let''s say you''ve written a really really slow rails application. Best you can get out of the thing is 2 req/sec. What can you possibly do about that? It''s a common problem for new rails developers. Well,

Telling Apache Not to Send a Sub-Directory to the Cluster
Howdy, I am using Apache 2.2 and Mongrel with great success. I have a mod_rewrite question and I am NO expert. I think it''s really simple but I haven''t nailed it. I was hoping someone here could help. I''m using Apache conf right out of the cluster example from the Mongrel site. I have a directory under my apps ''public'' directory called
