I am running wine 1.10 with the latest nVidia drivers, the 180 series. Now, everytime I shoot at the glass, or somebody breaks it, hl2 crashes without any unusual output. Just all it does is exit. Even if I throw a grenade, and go away, it will crash when I return to the place and make it load the picture. Any help will be appreciated!

Dude, didn't I mention that it actually didn't spit out any errors at all ? That's when I am not running with the prefix for fixme-all. And if there isn't enough info posted, then you can tell me that.

However, I would like for you to describe EXACTLY how you are starting the program, for example, I click on the Gnome menu item and the program starts. I run the program until I break the glass, then it quits suddenly. If you are starting it from a terminal session, there should be output to the terminal session, that may or may not be helpful. If it is long (this is more than one screen in length), copy it to a site like pastebin and then put the URL to it in a reply message. There maybe others who can suggest methods to find out where the problem is and what can be done to fix it. Just stating 'nothing happens' will not get any problem fixed. James McKenzie
WINEDEBUG="fixme-all" winefix /home/user/.wine/drive_c/hl/hl2.exe -steam -console -dxlevel 70 -heapsize 512000 -w 1024 Thats my script. The only thing that is different in this script from my other scripts is the directory of the game. Is the WINEDEBUG="fixme-all" a condition that changes the config until I reboot ?
It works with 80 directx.

When I get to see more than 3 objects, it starts to crawl.
