I've made a bit of progress, but I seem to have hit a wall.  When I run the
program, it generates the following errors, during which time it shows no
window.

Anyone got any ideas?

what happens if you run it with native oleaut32.dll?

I copied my oleaut32.dll from my vista machine before I created the log... this
is with that file.

Did you set the override in winecfg?

Yes, the override was set to use the native dll.
