wine users - Nov 2008 - T-Online Internet-Telefon (impossible to run the application

hey guys!

after the installation of the "T-Online Internet-Telefon"
(http://service.t-online.de/c/12/70/42/54/12704254.html) finally worked (thanks
for improving wine!) it is now unfortunately impossible to run the application.

if you have any ideas how to get this little neat program to work (it's the
only reason why i still have windows installed!) i'd be really thankful!

i'm running Ubuntu 8.10 on a samsung q35 laptop with wine 1.1.8
Intel? Core? Duo T2300
160GB HDD
1536 MB Ram

The AppDB says it needs native gdiplus.dll.

ok i think i did something wrong... i added in the libraries card of winecfg one
at a time and together ole32 and gdiplus. nothing changed. then i saw that you
can change settings and i put for the ole32 "native". now i can't
run winecfg anymore

ok thanks a lot! it's bizarre, it deleted the whole application - well i
reinstalled it.
and here's what i did: i copied ole32.dll from a windows installation and
told the application to use it. worked! but now i've got another problem.
There's a pop a telling: "unable to read local settings.cfg!"

the gdiplus (also copied the gdiplus.dll from a windows installation in
systems32 - in windows it was in a different folder, but if i put it there, wine
tells me, it cannot find gdiplus.dll) didn't do anything.

any more ideas?

I downloaded the app. It works fine for me with only the gdiplus override.

no. it just takes longer loading... but same message

arrgh. how do you guys do all that stuff without becoming crazy??? i'm about
to jump out of the window...

anyways. i installed git and did the patching thing:

because of copy and past the patch got screwed up. I attached the well formatted
patch to the bug you opened. Try that
