[Wine] Pushing delete key deletes characters + prints dots (.)

Hi,

In Windows applications under Wine 1.1.5, when pushing the delete key in a
(Windows) text editor it deletes the character and prints a dot. How to get rid
of this pesky behavior ?

Check your keyboard layout. Wine might not detecting it properly. See output of
WINEDEBUG=+keyboard wine program.exe

You might want to try different layout.
