wine users - Sep 2008 - Halo Trial Error

I am trying to get Halo Trial to run on Wine 1.1.5, after having to success on
rc3 for a previous version. Can't remember what. It is going better than the
previous one, i can get it to start, and it shows the halo screen, unlike
before, but it won't actually start.  It crashes immediately after that.
