wine users - Jul 2008 - 16 bit?

I am trying to run a program that asks me to change my system setteing to 16
bit. How would i do this through wine? Or would i go under my OS and do it?

Edit your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. There should be comments in that
file to help.
