wine users - Sep 2006 - Fonts

Hi all,
	i am running Wine 0.9.18 on Debian Sarge. I'm getting very good results
with
most programmes apart from fonts. I'm sure this has been mentioned many time
before but I can't find the answer. In message boxes, text editors & the
like
the font is broken up & almost illegible. I have copied all fonts from a 
windows millenium installation to my fake windows/windows/fonts directory but 
still no joy. Any help would be appreciated.
