Vorbis dev - Nov 2000 - Dolby takes down open-source AAC developement (Webnoize)

Read this article on Dolby shutting down Freeware AAC,
also Ogg Vorbis and LAME are mentioned as well with
some comments from Jack Moffitt.

I'm not subscribed to webnoize, but the website didn't ask any
subscription
and I was able to view the article with no hassle. After seeing some posts
on this list that you have to subscribe, I went to the site again and - now
it asks for subscription ?!? Guess I was lucky the first time. :-))
