So, release priorities. I have all of derf's proposed bitstream changes accounted for in the reference encoder, if not supported in the decoder. These are going to be released as alpha 3 to get the new bitstream changes out for wider testing while we work on spec and implementations of the extensions. The remaining issue is the broken buffering in splayer. I'll take care of that today. VP3 transcoder will remain experimental (and not ship with the release). Tenative goals for alpha 4 would be reference decoder support for the bitstream extensions and a draft spec. Slightly higher priority is a libogg 1.1.1 bugfix release. The gating item here is monty's fix for http://bugs.xiph.org/show_bug.cgi?id=464 Hopefully that will happen in the next couple of days. There's also a libvorbis 1.0.2 release in the queue, but that doesn't particularly affect theora. Anything I'm missing? As always, please see http://wiki.xiph.org/TheoraTodo for the ongoing release goals. I am not able to login to IRC on a regular basis. The direction I'm taking, will it be suitable for the spec?
