Syslinux - Feb 2003 - PXELINUX?

Hello,
Does PXELINUX support a direct kernel and ramdisk root fs image boot?

I have a cluster of nodes that have no drives and would like to
PXE boot each with a custom kernel and root ramdisk fs.

The initrd image is deleted after boot so I don't have a mount point.

That's what it's for.  Does a great job of it.
