I never said that the information would be deleted. Rather, the new page will concentrate on icecast2 and related vorbis projects. The information for the older releases (as well as all the content from the Icecast1 page) will just be a click away. I'm not justifying anything. Read back to a few days ago, maybe a week or so. Perhaps, if that is the only requirement to have a fully-functional streamer. Unfortunately, I believe this is not sufficient for the user base. So, if the

icecast1 documentation
Hi Geoff, I'm a bit confused... After reading the docs, I was under the impression that icecast2 does not do on demand relaying? I did a google search, found this (well, it's a year ago) http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/icecast/2004-February/006555.html Also, in the relaying section of the icecast documentation: http://www.icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.2.0/icecast2_relay.html There was no

icecast1 documentation
Hi guys, Can anyone point me to some good icecast1 documentation? I looked on the icecast.org website, but the /docs link only list the icecast2 documentation now and the whole site is void of icecast1 documentation... Using icecast1 instead of icecast2 because I need on-demand-streaming... Thanks, Kelv

icecast 1.3 or 2 ???
KJ, Would you like to help Mike document ices2 and icecast2? We can use help in that department. Specifically, documenting every feature available, and what and how combinations of settings work, as well as keeping track of what's being implemented in CVS as it happens. We're working toward an update of the icecast page and documentation will be a part of that. Manuel

This Well, there are, see Geoff's mail ... those are official. Multiple problems of pretty much any kind prevented Xiph.org from getting icecast.org in order; I don't know much about them, but the fact that icecast.org is
