blazer_ser: UPS behind seriell ethernet converter
Hi, I'm trying to get an Effekta UPS (works directly with blazer_ser) working behind a seriell to ethernet converter (Brainboxes ES-246). I've set the converter to 2400 baud, 8N1, no flow control. On the linux side I started socat and blazer_ser. All I got are timeouts after 12 seconds. I can see network traffic with tcpdump but I've no idea what to do to get this working. Does

PowerWalker UPS
Dear Nut-UPSdev Team, First of all I would like to appreciate the great job you are doing. Your work is very important and helpful for all UPS users. I found that you show compatibility with blazer_ser and blazer_usb for six of our models. Please inform me how we can make it happen that all our models become compatible? Who from your team added the compatibility with PowerWalker VI 850 LCD?

Problem with blazer_ser/megatec when upgrading to 2.6.0 from 2.4
Hello First things first, thanks for great work with NUT. For years I used Informer compact 3kVA UPS http://www.informups.com/informer_compact.html with nut/megatec serial driver, but it stopped working when I switched to blazer_ser with 2.6.0 upgrade. I'm using 2.6.0 on gentoo. Blazer_ser seems to connect with UPS, but upsmon reports driver not connected. uname -a Linux localhost

blazer_ser problem on windows NUT 2.6.5-3780M
Hi, I have a bunch of UPSs, most connected to pcs with Linux working 100% with NUT. The only one I have a problem with, is connected to Windows 7 64bit, and I used the straight MSI installed from the website named NUT-Installer-2.6.5-4.msi Took me a while to find a way to get it to work, but it is ugly for now. Just starting up the service results in a NUT not working at all, and I tracked it

[windows port] blazer_ser issues, select_read() from serial semantics
Hi, I tried using 2.6.1 version for windows with a Megatec-compatible UPS and was surprised to find out it doesn't work at all. The reason for that is blazer_ser using ser_get_buf specifying a buffer large enough to accept any reasonably possible response, setting buflen accordingly. That calls select_read() and it's supposed to wait until something is available and then to read up all

Installing NUT for PowerWalker VI 1500 LCD
Since the provided drivers come with absolutely no installation instructions, I turned to NUT. The compatibility list says "blazer_usb" should be used for PowerWalker's devices, so that's what I put in my conf: [pwvi] driver = blazer_usb port = auto desc = "PowerWalker VI 1500 LCD" Since I use Ubuntu Server 13.10 so I installed nut from apt.
