If you or someone else at your company who could help with that testing, we would be happy to work with you. If the UPS has a simple USB-to-serial converter inside, or if it requires a kernel driver in Windows, it is probably not HID PDC compliant.) However, due to variations in each manufacturer's interpretation of the HID PDC spec, we can't automatically work with any HID PDC UPS. There is an "explore" mode which helps us map out the UPS variables and settings. Hello to everybody from NUT-Team, Sorry, that I use html-mail instead txt-mail, but I need to show you some screenshots to explain my problems. I would like to test all our UPS with the NUT solution to be able proving compatibility. But I have difficulties to get the software running on my Windows XP SP3 machine. As soon I get the software running I will start testing our UPS. I am really new in this topic and hope you can help me to get the software started. Hi Arnaud and everybody who can help me to get the VI 1400 working,
I tried to configure NUT manually (ups.conf, upsd.{users,conf} and upsmon.conf)
But until now failed.
I am now using the PowerWalker Line-Interactive VI 1400 device which should work
with blazer_usb
Do you have any possibility to provide me the correct configuration for the
files (ups.conf, upsd.{users,conf} and upsmon.conf) ?
As soon I get this device working I will start to test all our UPS with NUT.
In case you can provide the configuration files you can put them on my FTP
