Hello all, been 5 years since I posted on this list, glad to be back :) I have a number of X-power Tigra 1kVA online UPS units. From some knowledgeable folks working for the local distributor, I learnt that from inside this looked like a Best 610 ups unit. Before, I had this UPS hooked via serial to my Windows 2003 server. For monitoring, some winpilot/upspilot software was also provided.

hi! When I turn on my pc everything works fine, but if I restart fails (I'm not sure if this is true at 100%)?(then, i can do 'sudo /etc/init.d/nut restart' and it works) But what is certain is that sometimes when start up the pc it works and sometimes fails, can be a problem with the start time (i have a fast ssd) and the initialization of the driver and the usb port? thanks! syslog:

Hi, I have used the truss command as directed. I have attached both the driver output and the last few sections of truss output leading to the hang. Both outputs end at the CTRL+C i pressed when i was forced to end the processes. Hope this is helpful. List: I have an Eaton (Powerware) Model 5115 and am using the bcmxcp_usb driver on a OpenBSD 4.9 system. The upsdrvctl start appears to work and I get a message in my daemon log stating that it successfully started. I can successfully start the upsd daemon. I get a successful start messaage from the upsmon program, but it soon complains of 'stale' data. It looks like the driver
