FTS lucene indexer-worker segfaulting
Hi,
I've just set up fts-lucene and when I run searches on my inbox or when
I run the indexer (`doveadm index INBOX`) I get the following segfault.
I've run it multiple times and noticed that the data value is different
each time so I guess it doesn't always crash at the same point.
I'm running dovecot 2.2.13-1 with clucene 2.3.3.4-8 on Arch Linux.

nmbd dies as soon as it's started
As soon as I start up the daemons using the following commands, nmbd dies.
/usr/local/samba/bin/smbd -D
/usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd -D
When I view the nmbd.log it gives the following. We're trying to set up
Samba to work over 2 subnets. Smbd is ok and we can still mount our
shares. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

nmbd won't bind on FreeBSD 5.2-RELEASE sparc64
Hi,
I have had samba 3.0 running on my FreeBSD 5.2 sparc64 system for
a few weeks without any issues.
Recently I had to reboot, and now nmbd won't run. I have NOT changed
my config one bit.
I have verified nothing is bound to port 137 via netstat -an .
The error is as follows:
[2004/03/19 05:20:10, 0] lib/util_sock.c:open_socket_in(646)

nmbd won't start on HP-UX 10.20 & strangeness
Hi folks,
We're seeing an odd thing happening on about 8 out of 100 UNIX machines
running Samba 1.9.18p7. Mostly on HU-UX 10.20 systems, but at least once
on an IRIX 6.4 system.
The scenario:
- SAMBA up and running in this environment for about 2 years sharing UNIX
home directories with NT boxes.
- SAMBA set up to start via inetd.
- Had a plant shutdown over a weekend a month ago, all

nmbd startup fails
Dear all,
I regret that I am very new to this tool from the install side. I have so far altered shares on a running machine only.
I have (thanks to Joss for some help already) installed version 3.4.3 under AIX 6.1 giving it our preferred base directory of /opt/freeware/samba/3.4.3
I have copied over the smb.conf file from the source machine (AIX 5.2 / Samba 2.0.7) and tweaked the content of

tinc config problems UPDATE
I've played around with the config some more after finding and reading
through the mailing list archives. I think I'm being tripped up by my
ipchains ruleset, so I'm going to play with it when I get home tonight and
can set up a private network.
If I have any further problems, I'll subscribe to, then send a message to
the mailing list.
Thanks for your patience and a VPN that's

authentication ok but connection disconnects
To whom it corresponds,
I have been trying to connect my RHEL4 machine through public key
authentication against a windows server 2003 machine running OpenSSH for
Windows v3.8.1p1-1.
I set up everything: keys, user, etc. Doing sftp -vv user@<wsip> I see that
authentication went ok but somehow, connection hangs up. I removed
anti-virus and other security software on the ws2003 machine

How to test homogeneity of covariance matrices?
Dear Group Members,
Forgive me if I am a little bit out of subject. I am looking for a good
way to test the homogeneity of two variance-covariance matrices using R,
prior to a Hotelling T test. Youll probably tell me that it is better
to use a robust version of T, but I have no precise idea of the
statistical behaviour of my variables, because they are parameters from

nmbd
I am having a lot of problems with nmbd. Basically it refuses to open its
socket to listen on. I have checked, and the reason cannot be that the port
is in use, as I can set any port with the -p switch, and I get the same
error. The relevant part of the nmb log is:
