HI Trying to install Divx9 using winetricks. Using Ubuntu 8.10 and have cabextract installed, and my graphics card has it's driver installed (NVIDIA GEforce FX 5200). I have a simple test program which encodes, decodes and displays a single video stream ( at 2-3 fps ). It takes about 15% of CPU time when it uses DivX codec, but 35% when the VP31 codec is active. I was wondering if the XVideo extension is supported or not? In a clean wine setup, I installed DivX 4.01 and The Playa, also installed Windows Media Player 6.4.
