i had an old version of wine, about 2mnths i downloaded it. i couldn't get it working at all, well i had solitaire going and was about it, and partly installed some games but they never worked. do i have to install the whole windows OS onto linux. i hope not, cos i didn't b4, my dream is to get my favorute apps working then dump that inferior operating system formerly know as windows. i

This worked with: Wine CVS from Jan 29th + Transgaming patch XFree 4.0.2 NVidia drivers 0.9.6 Had to turn off DGA, and force wine to manage created windows, otherwise I get a glXMakeCurrent error when it tries to set the current GLX rendering context. I recently downloaded the wine tarball from codeweavers (ver. 20001026) and ran the config script. It gave me an error saying that i needed to have the Xfree86 dev files and xpm. I installed both off of my mandrake cd's and it still gives the same error. any suggestions? Thanks in advance Tommy

Sound stopped working on my CentOS 6.8 system several months ago. I've tried everything I can to find out what's wrong. Folks, I'm looking at buying an FXO card for my home Asterisk setup. The question I have is, should I got for a the Digium Wildcard FXO or settle for the winmodem that Digium sell? I have spoken to the UK distributor and they only sell the Wildcard. They said that the quality of the modem was questionable. Does anyone have any experience of this? Is the modem noticeably different
