Flashing Red Lights in TE420 (5th Gen) Card
I have the following software installed in a Centos Box with a TE420 (5th Gen) card. . Centos 6.5 64-bit . Asterisk 1.4.22 . dahdi-linux-complete-2.9.1.1+2.9.1 . libpri-1.4.14. Even without plugging in the ISDN into span 1, all 4 spans are flashing red. Plugging an E1 into span 1 makes no difference. My system.conf is just simply: loadzone=au defaultzone=au span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4 bchan=1-15

Problem with wct4xxp - cannot make calls
Hi, I'm having problems with a TE420P card, in which I cannot make calls using spans 2 through 4. After a couple of days of working correctly, spans 2, 3 and 4 start failing (can not make calls). The system is configured to work with SS7. After the ACM message goes out, immediately a REL message is returned. I searched for error messages in /var/log/messages and could not find a clue

dahdi timing source multiple cards
I have a box with 12 T1s (4 Te410P cards). The PSTN provider is reporting slips and ask me to update the clock source. I have my system.conf set as the following but when I run dahdi_scan only the ports on Card 1 are showing up with syncsrc=1 system.conf : span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs bchan=2-24 mtp2=1 span=2,2,0,esf,b8zs bchan=26-48 mtp2=25 span=3,3,0,esf,b8zs bchan=49-72

Weird PRI error on an QUAD E1 span: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255
After working fine for a week or so my new Quad E1 asterisk 1.8 system has started rejecting outbound calls from the Nortel BMC 450 it is connected to. The cli fills up with these: sig_pri.c: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 3 Is this likely to be a 1) config error 2) cable issue (I made them) 3) hardware problem with the Digium card 4) software (lib pri) Any clues?

Two zaptel T1 cards: no clock from one
List, I have a TE410P (T1 mode, all PRI) and a T100P (fxoks, for fxs channel bank). I cannot seem to get the T100P to send any clock to the channel bank. I prefer that it use the same clock source as the TE410P, but it doesn't matter if it's not in sync just as long as it's there. The TE410P is configured 3x pri_cpe, 1x pri_net. The three cpe go to XO Sonus switch, the net to

PRIs from two different telco
My TE411p does not seem to like to have two PRIs from different telcos (span 1 and span 2). I can get one working, but not the other. However, if I use vpmsupport=0 when loading the wct4xxp module, they both work. But here is the problem, vpmsupport=0 disables the on board echo cancellation. Any ideas? BTW, here is zaptel.conf span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs span=2,2,0,esf,b8zs bchan=1-23 dchan=24

3rd T1 of quad card won't change signaling
Hello, I'm trying to set the 3rd span of a new digium quad card as a E&M T1 for Faxes to a Hylafax server. The 1st and 2nd spans are working as PRIs. When I start asterisk, the logs show a signaling error and chan_zap.c dies. I also get an error that it can't read the gains but they are the standard shown below. 2.6 kernel, Debian Stable, * 1.2 svn from feb 2007 my procedure: make

Zaptel kernel module load order
Evening, My latest asterisk box is having a difficult problem. It is configured with one TE210P and TDM400P with four FXO modules. I'm running FC6. The TE210P only has a single PRI. When the system boots, it is completely random what order the zaptel modules will get loaded in. Sometimes zttool shows the FXO as the last span, sometimes as the first. When it does load as the first, which

TE405P + Adit 600 and FXO module - should this work?
Folks, I'm experimenting with bringing multiple (8) analog lines from our local telco into a Carrier Access ADIT 600 channel bank with an FXO module, then having this talk to Asterisk via the T1 TDM controller on the ADIT and a TE405P card. I don't know if this will work well (ie: give me decent echo cancellation, call disconnect supervision, caller ID etc) but I haven't had much

TE410P problem (Looping UP Span 1...)
Hi list, We have been trying to configure a Quad Span T1 card in a system running RH9. We have followed the instructions in the Wiki and searched the mailing lists, but so far havent got any success. Cable is connected to the first span, and module is loaded. Without loading the module the LED glows in red colour, but the moment we load module, it goes off. (No red or green) . We ran zttool

PRI Issue: D-Channel woes
Hi, I am about to pull my hair out after trying to get our PRI up and working. We are switching from a Cisco gateway to an Asterisk box which provides the 23 phone lines for our office. So, because the Cisco gateway is working I can assume I have all the settings right (b8zs, esf, dms100, etc) and the PRI is live (because we are switching over). When dialing from PSTN, I get busy signal. When

TE410P lights don't blink read after the module is loaded
Greetings, According to the FAQ "When you load the module and have no circuit/channel bank the LED's should flash red" I get the "knight rider" lights before the module loads, but after the modules are loaded I don't get any lights, other equipment plugged in or not. The card has been on my shelf a while so I wonder if it needs a firmware upgrade ? Can the cards
