Re: [strongSwan] Interop problem Linksys WRV200 with Strongswan 4.1.3 / PSK
Hi Andreas, I don''t know if the WRV200 is running freeswan or openswan. We use the newest US-version of the linksys firmware 1.0.32.2 from 2.5.2007. Another problem is in accessing the vpn-Gateway itself with ssh for instance, I get a freezing windows, whenever I tranfer more than just a few bytes. I can type my login-name and my password, then get a prompt ... but if I call,

bizare soap4r problem
Hey chaps I am using classes I generated from wsdl2ruby, and they work like a charm when running somthing like: ruby -d path/to/file.rb and i get the result I expect. However, when I use them within rails, the actual xml it puts together is different. Using wire dump i see that (and this is a key part of the web service) looks like: <n1:inRecipientIDs

Automatic route add/del instead of supernetting
Hi, I have a question about the routing to the tun device. As I understand the tincd vpn solution, each side could add and delete subnets to the vpn, and these "routing" updates are send to every participating vpn node, so every node knows all subnets and the node where to send the traffic for it. But, beside this, the operating system needs a way to distinguish between traffic

latest kernel
Today I updated several servers running CentOS 4.3, and got the new 2.6.9-42 kernel. One of the machines serves as our firewall. After rebooting I lost all forwarding thru the machine. I reverted back to the 2.6.9-34 kernel and connectivity returned. During the few minutes that the new kernel was running I checked that the routing table looked OK, and with tcpdump I saw that indeed no traffic

Name mangling bug: was samba bug?
Hi James, this sounds familiar - I believe I looked at a wire trace, and windows is dropping the trailing dots BEFORE it sends the request over the wire. so samba never sees the name foo..., thus does not create it. Configuring interfaces for Samba-By-Example Ch 3
I have spent a solid two weeks trying to implement the "Secure Office Networking" example in the book "Samba-3 by Example, to no avail. In the example, the system sets the server up as a Samba PDC, and also as a router for two local subnets. There are three network interfaces on the computer: eth0 for the WAN/Internet, firewalled; eth1 & eth2 for two LAN subnets, bound to

[ISOLINUX] No boot: prompt with ISOLINUX 3.07
I found that the version of isolinux.bin (and the debug version too) doesn't work on my Via C3 system. I get the SAY text, but never the boot: prompt. C-A-Del doesn't reboot either. The debug version does not print anything after announcing it's opening the config file. Only the single SAY text follows. The cursor sits on the next blank line, useless (no responses to key presses).

MoH with an Aastra 9112i
Hello, I have some Aastra 9112i's in production that almost function flawlessly. The problem I'm having is when a caller is put on hold they do not hear hold music. If they are on hold for too long (~ a minute?) they are hung up on. All other phones including Aastra 480i and Sipura/Linksys ATAs all seem to be working fine. Is this a quirk anyone else has experienced? Any

Aastra 9112i or 9133i Ring Tones
I've been looking at the two phones Aastra 9112i and 9133i for our offices now. I was just curious if anyone could tell me about the ring tones. Specifically: 1) How many ring tones do they come with? 2) Can you upload your own ring tones? 3) If so, what format and how? (wav, mp3, gsm, etc. and TFTP, web management, flash, etc.) Thanks for any help. -- Tim DeBaillie 812-476-2721

[LLVMdev] Enabling SPIR target in LLVM 3.3
Thanks. I am not trying to modify convert generic LLVM IR and know the requirements (such as specifying address spaces etc.). I guess I just need to ensure that I am sticking to LLVM 3.2 and the SPIR specified subset+ metadata annotations etc. Anyway, I was confused partly because there are references to a SPIR backend in LLVM code (eg: include/llvm/ADT/Triple.h lists spir and spir64 as possible

[LLVMdev] Enabling SPIR target in LLVM 3.3
Hi. I am looking into generating SPIR from within a JIT compiler for a high level language using LLVM C++ API. The first step is to of course build LLVM with SPIR backend support and I am currently using LLVM 3.3. For reference, the host system is a x86-64 Linux. I first tried building LLVM 3.3 without specifying any targets, and it built many targets including aarch64, arm, x86, x86_64, nvptx
