Agent Penalty
Can anyone shed any light on an issue with agent penalties?
I have 2 queues set up with agents working both queues, but where agent
1 should have a penalty for queue 2 and agent 2 should have a penalty
for queue 1. When a call is sent to either queue, it rings agents with
and without penalties at the same time.
I set up a second system and cannot replicate the issue on the test
system. I

Queues and Agent penalty - how to go to second best agent when the first does not answer
Hi,
I've been playing with agent penalties (Asterisk 1.6.2.16). I've set up
multiple agents, and as documented agents with the lowest penalty value get
called first. The issue I have is that if the agent with the very lowest
penalty does not answer, instead of going with to the second best agent the
queue rings the same agent over and over and over again.
I've realized that

Agent penalties and busy status
Hi all,
When implementing a queue using members like this:
[queue]
strategy => rrmemory
member => Agent/1000,1
member => Agent/1001,1
member => Agent/1002,2
member => Agent/1003,2
member => Agent/1004,2
And you call into the queue, agents 1000 and 1001 will ring in an alternating
fashion until one of them answers it. You might have seen my question coming
already, so I

Agents and agent counts
Hey everyone,
I have noticed a few questions close to the issue I am having but I
haven't seen any that quite match the problem I am seeing.
I have 3 queues. Some members share one queue and some are completely
separate. Some members have a higher penalty then others. I am using
addqueuememeber and removequeuemember for the login and log out and I
verify members with their password for

scaling of nonbinROC penalties
Dear R Helpers
I am having difficulty understanding how to use the penalty matrix for the nomROC function in package 'nonbinROC'.
The documentation says that the values of the penalty matrix code the
penalty function L[i,j] in which 0 <= L[i,j] <= 1 for
j > i. It gives an example that if we have an ordered response with 4 categories, then we might wish to penalise larger

Using queue priorities to add agents
Hi,
I have a scenario that I am failing to implement using the Queue app, but
which I had thought would be commonplace...
1) (this bit works fine) I want a queue caller to have access to the basic
set of agents initially, with an overflow to additional agents if they are
busy - This is done using penalty:
queues.conf:
member => SIP/dev1,0,Agent1
member => SIP/dev2,0,Agent2
member =>

Queue Penalties not working properly
Hi,
I am using Asterisk 1.4.18. I am implementing Penalties for my agents.
What is happening: two agents configuired one agent with penalty 1 and
the other with penalty 2. All the calls must go first to Agent 1 and if
his line is busy then only then agent 2 will get the call. However my
queues are not behaving in this manner. I have impmemnted ringall
strategy. Now when first call comes it

New feature in app_queue: Give members a penalty time for not answering (help testing)
Hi,
I've uploaded a new patch at
https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=16722which adds a new option
to queues.conf. The new option is
notpresent-penalty, which is an amount of seconds to wait before calling a
agent that doesn't answer, again. This feature is especially nice if you are
using penalties on members of a queue.
I would be very happy if someone could help me test this

Queue and penalties
Hi,
I'm trying to have a queue with members that work like this:
Member = Local/101@context
Member = Local/102@context,1 ; Penalty!
And a dialplan that looks like this:
[context]
Exten = 101,1,DBget(Channel=QM/101)
Exten = 101,2,Dial(${Channel})
Exten = 101,102,Busy
And similar for 102.
Now, if 101 does not have its corresponding database entry, it will return a
Busy signal. However, if

Queues and penalties
Hi John
This works fine providing extensions 1001,1002 and 1003 are "Incall" or
"Paused" - the problem appears to be that is a handset say 1002 is "ringing"
then the 2xxx then the penalty is not honoured.
This is well described in the History section of the following link

Asterisk Queue ACD when the queues and agents has the same priority/weight
Hello,
I have three queues (F1,F2,F3) with default queue weight and three
agents (A1,A2,A2) with default agent penalty. If the three agents are
busy and tt same time a caller (C1) enter in the queue F1, and after
20 seconds a second caller (C2) enter in the queue F2. So, few seconds
later, the agent (A1) state comes to availabe. In this case the
asterisk deliveries the caller (C2) to agent (A1),

wrapuptime?
Hi!
Trying to understand how wrapuptime is working...
I have written a small php script that let agents log in/out
off a queue. That part is working as a clock but wrapuptime
is not doing what I expect.

Queues and penalties
Hi All
I have been looking at this problem for a few days/weeks now and after some
advice please.
I currently have a customer on 11.25.3 and I am in the process of upgrading
versions and OS (Debian) and all things that involves mysql -> PDO etc
The problem I have is the customer want a simple call distribution like this
Extn 1001, 1002, 1003 to be called on an incoming call - if they

Realtime asterisk queues only reload queue members when a new call joins the queue
Hi there,
As described on voip-info here
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+RealTime+Queue, if I use
realtime queues, alterations to the list of members don't alter until a
new call joins the queue.
Is there anything I can do about this? I've tried looking for a bug
number, but to no avail. I use realtime queue members for logging in and
out, and I'd like it to take

Penalty in queues.conf
It's so you can have agents that are less likely to take calls (e.g. imagine
a sales queue, you'd have the sales people with no penalty, you might have
the receptionists with a penalty of 1 and us propeller heads in technical
support with a penalty of 2).
The technical support people would only be offered a call from the sales
queue if all the sales people and the receptionists were busy.

Handling 3 different call ending causes
Hello List,
I'm using a dialstring like the one below. I want to have three different
things happening depending on exit cause.
Dial(SIP/${phonenumber},20,gL(20000[:5000][:5000]))
These 3 things could happen:
1, Caller hangs up
2, Callee hangs up
3, The 20 seconds is up and call is terminated from Asterisk.
Is there a way to separate these 3?
Thanks,
Best regards,
Tobias

Queue help: Extending RRMEMORY strategy to use penalty
Hi, all. I'm checking in about an issue that has been mentioned here a
few times, but to which I can't seem to find a solution for a very
present need.
The summary is that we'd like to have a queue that rings logged-in
agents in the same order every time, based on penalty, in a way that
continuously escalates the attempts to the next penalty level until all
agents have been tried.

Call Queue: strategies and penalties
All,
For the last 10 months, I've been using strategy=ringall. This has worked
fine and did what I wanted, but at this point, I'm needing to implement a
'penalty' or delay for some members of the call queue.
1: remote users (remote flunkies)
2: level-1 support (flunkies)
3: level-2 support (glorified flunkies)
4: level-3 support (super flunkies)

Remove authentication penalty for webmailer
Hi all,
I want to remove the authentication penalty for specific ip addresses
(subnets if possible).
I am using Dovecot 2.3.2 (582970113) and figured that this information:
https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Authentication/Penalty
> If the IP is in login_trusted_networks (e.g. webmail), skip any
authentication penalties
is not up to date.
Instead this information is:
