Polycom call parking feature and Asteriskcallparking
When you use the Park button, on some phones you have to hit "More" to
get it.
Then when you park it, it calls back and tells you the extension...so
you have to hang up then pick up again.
Callpark apparently is a valid extension!

Stuck Parked Calls?
I've lurked for a while, but I think this is one of my first "pleas" for help. I'm having issues where a parked call using the macro below is getting "stuck". Users park the call via a blfxfer key on an Aastra phone. If the call is a blind transfer, it tries to park the call. If it isn't a blind transfer, it tries to unpark the call. Only 2 extensions (2759 and

Call Parking on 7960
Hi all,
I've got a fairly minor question, but it's getting on my nerves ..
hopefully it's an easy answer. I'm having trouble parking calls on our
7960s. It works fine on ZAP devices, though, and they're both using the
same context.
What I do is:
When I'm on the call, I hit More, Transfer, 700, Dial. I then get a fast
busy. If I dial 701, for example, I do get the

parkcall: How to remove announcement.
Hello all,
I want to park calls using the callpark application, but I don't want to
hear the saydigit when the called is parked.
To resolve this issue I use the following instruction in the dialplan:
exten => _8XX,1,ParkAndAnnounce(|1000|local/10 at default|)
Because local/10 at default is not defined to a peer I get a lot of warnings.
:(
Is there a better way to resolve this

park()-command always parks on default 701
Hello,
I have the following in my dialplan :
exten => callpark,n,Set(PARKINGDYNPOS=200-210)
exten => callpark,n,Set(PARKINGDYNCONTEXT=parked_001)
exten => callpark,n,Park(20000,,,,s,parkinglot_001)
I see on the CLI :

Parking lot
Is there any way to have Asterisk call an extension in dial plan instead of
original extension after timeout?
Like extension A puts the caller in parking lot, he leaves the phone and
forgets about it, instead of having that phone rings after timeout, have a
group of phones rings.

Call parking from legacy PBX over PRI??
I have an issue with call parking and hope there is some undocumented feature for this. ;-)
We are replacing our legacy PBX with asterisk, but to save money over time (handsets and network), I am trying to maintain the use
of our legacy PBX.
Asterisk extensions can not use the call parking features (not usable over trunk cards) of the old PBX, so I have to get the old PBX
to use asterisk's.

Parking in Asterisk 12.0.0
Hi
I'm trying to get the rebuilt parking functionality to work in Asterisk
12.0.0.
In Asterisk 11.6.0 I managed to get a call to get parked by adding a
dynamic feature in features.conf for the DMTF sequence *# which called a
macro in extensions.conf, which then runned the ParkAndAnnounce
application, and the call got parked.
The syntax for ParkAndAnnounce I used was this (I don't

Asterisk parking hold and transferdigittimeout
Hi,
anyone out there with the same problems and a possible solution to the
following?
The functions callparking and hold use the same transferdigittimeout in
features.conf.
While I think 3 to 5 seconds are enough to let the user "find" their keys on
the phone,
the double ammount of time ( 2 x 5 secs) you have to wait before a call is
parked and
the parkposition is announced, is

Multi-Tenant Parking
Has anyone managed to get multi-parking lot call parking working correctly? I've had several attempts at it, and never seem to be able to get it to go properly - (actually, at all):
I've most recently done this with 1.6.1.x, and now 1.6.2.x, with no luck in either case. What I've been "trying" is the following:
features.conf
[general]
parkext => 100

cisco phone and parked calls
So, I can't figure out how to get the parkandannounce application to
work the way I want it to... I have cisco 7960 IP phones using SIP,
and this is what I have in my extensions.conf:
exten => 700,1,ParkAndAnnounce(pbx-transfer:PARKED|90|SIP/${EXTEN:1}|internal,${EXTEN:1},1)
exten => 700,2,Hangup
and in my parking.conf:

Parking
Good Day list,
My head is pounding from google overload.
Does anyone know if there is any way to park a call and specify
the ("context", "Extension", and Priority) of where to call back to if
the call times out and is parked too long?
ParkAndAnnounce does this feature, however I do not like that it
has to call you back to announce the location.

Non automated call parking
>From discussions with the receptionist staff, this is what we need:
X number of buttons for parking slots.
These buttons should be lit when a call is parked there.
When on a call, just pushing an unlit button will park the call. (The do not want to hit hold, transfer, etc.)
Hitting Transfer and the button would most likely be OK.
To pick up a call, they can push the parking slot button.

call parking on specific park number
Hello,
Is there any way to park a call on a specific park number?
If this is not possible, is there any way to create multiple park orbits?
Also, is there any way to invoke call parking of an active call coming
through a Zap channel from the manager interface?

How obtain the slot position when a call is parked?
Hi,
I want to ask you if asterisk, when I use the command park(), gives me for
example a variable that contains the slot position where it parks the call
or if it only tells me (audio) in the channel this position number? In
other words, is there a way to obtain and use the value of the slot
position when the call is parked? Thanks.

ParkAndAnnounce2 Feature Request
We've had a regular Park function in the past but recently I found the
ParkAndAnnounce() application and I love the idea behind it. Here's a snip
from the wiki
(http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+cmd+ParkAndAnnounce)
so that we're all talking the same language:

Call parking
All,
Quick question that hopefully someone out there will know the answer to...
We were previously running Asterisk 1.4.(something) (I forget which one) on
Debian. Due to an office move, I am temporarily routing our calls through
an Ubuntu box that I have. It runs Asterisk 1.4.17-dfsg-2ubuntu1
(basically, what came with Ubuntu.)
Here's the problem I am having: We are using Polycom

Call Parking
Anyone having trouble parking calls? I haven't tried it in a while,
but it seems to have stopped working. If I dial 700, I get a invalid
extension. I have "include => parkedcalls" in the correct context, and
I can dial 701, which tells me no call is parked there.
Any ideas? Parking.conf is stock.

ParkAndAnnounce + Paging
Hi everybody.
It is possible to announce the parking position through a paging to a group
of extensions?
I would like that when someone parks a call, some phones will announce with
the speaker the position.
Something like:
exten =>
s,1,ParkAndAnnounce(call-parked-at:PARKED|30|PAGE(LOCAL/PAGEyyyy@custom-auto
page&LOCAL/PAGEzzzz@custom-autopage|)
Is there a way, maybe with a
