xorcom hardware good idea?
hi i am thinking to use some xorcom hardware i only used digium hard... what do you think? it work ok? what about echo? it is plug and play only reload or i need to restar asterisk ? i understand the drivers are in the trunk of asterisk, is this rigth? have any one a conf file of a xorcom device? any other important comments are welcome. What web GUI are people happy with?
Just wondering what web GUI people like for asterisk. I installed asterisk from source and I was looking at possibly installing web GUI for system management. So far freepbx.org looks promising anybody else have any suggestions. Druid Open Source Edition
I have recently noticed that druid @ http://www.voiceroute.org has created an open source edition of their platform. I downloaded it today and installed it on a play system where I have about 20 ip phones ranging from cisco, polycom and aastra phones. Call Logs

I agree with these fella's, this is a piss poor way of fixing it. I only know of one call center that used static agents, mostly because they were sold a peice of crap and they had no idea how to use it the other way. I think you will find the majority of call centers are callback centers. This decision has taken Asterisk out of the realm of providing reasonable call center solutions. VIVA

queue issue
I have a _very_ specific situation where I need queues to work in a very specific manner - I need the queue to only accept one call at a time, even though several phones are attached to it. My memory tells me that queues might have even worked this way in the distant past (pre 1.0)...but I am willing to be mistaken. Is this even remotely possible? PaulH
