I was searching thru the internet and I found a wide variety of different web interfaces for asterisks I was curious which one is best suited for asterisks. Thanks
AMP hands down is STILL the best... though a few are catching up quickly On Mon, 2006-01-30 at 01:29 +0000, Strain Jer wrote:> > I was searching thru the internet and I found a wide variety of different > web interfaces for asterisks > I was curious which one is best suited for asterisks. There is a reason you dont really see questions about it. http://www.astmasters.net somewhere there are screenshots, the interface is slick and takes virtually no telephony knowledge to set something up. Hi, the Asterisk PBX Manager is STILL the best... though a few are catching up quickly ;-))) (Another absolutely subjective opinion) http://www.in-put.de/voice-over-ip/asterisk-pbx-manager.html Stefan> AMP hands down is STILL the best... though a few are catching up quickly > > On Mon, 2006-01-30 at 01:29 +0000, Strain Jer wrote: > > I was searching thru the internet and I found a wide variety of different > > web interfaces for asterisks > > I was curious which one is best suited for asterisks. That manager looks really awesome! There is 1 problem.. I only took 1 semester of German 15 years ago. Looked all over the page for the English button, but I could not find one. I did wake up 10 minutes ago, so I could still be blind. I will rephrase the statement.. AMP hands down is STILL the best FREE asterisk manager... Cheers, /Zac
Sorry my vote goes to AMP for sure. Dean -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Stefan-Michael. Also its under active development so expect a lot from it. -- regards Vikram
I don't see how any of these are better than AMP or Asterisk@Home <mailto:Asterisk@Home> . What features do any of these have that A@H <mailto:A@H> doesn't? The only problem with A@H <mailto:A@H> is the name. Asterisk@TheEnterprise <mailto:Asterisk@TheEnterprise> may have been a better selection. And unlike AMP, it is non-free. BTW: there is also DeStar: http://destar.berlios.de/ . Version 0.1.1 was recently released. Nice and clean. Generally runs its own daemon, though can run under apache. I guess while we're on the subject - check out ours: PhoneCALL(tm) at http://www.vecsector.com/phonecall I think you'll agree that it's by far the most flexible and versatile GPL GUI out there. We're almost done with the Tenant & User portals as well, to make setup even easier for the junior admin & for the regular user to administer their phone services. I'd love any feedback/suggestions you'd have on it! Dustin Wildes VecSector, LLC -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I have been playing with the Signate switch. Official training starts soon but just playing with it leaves me with the impression that it is powerful but very complex. You need to RTFM to get anything working. They have also used IonCube to encode all PHP and HTML files so customization is impossible without reverse engineering :-( I will reserve final judgement until I go through the official Signate training, but for several thousand dollars, I could have wrote a GUI that accesses and writes to the realtime database with a much more intuitive interface. Another question, If Signate is not using ABE, what are their requirements for releasing source as far as the GUI?
