Call Pickup how to display CND of incoming number
Is it possible to display the incoming calling number on a handset when trying to pick up a call from another handset? I currently have Call Pickup working using *8, I have also used the PickUp application successfully but I'm not sure how to use these features so the handsets show the incoming calling number and not the number that you have dialled to pick up the call. Problem picking up a call with PickUpChan or PickUp (asterisk-users Digest, Vol 43, Issue 1)
Hi, > Does anyone of you has a working configuration with SNOM phones that are > able to pickup a call from a flasing LED? Unfortunately (as far as I'm aware) this is a bug in the 1.4.17 release, and therefore I don't think any config changes will fix it. We've been told to roll back to our previous 1.4.13 installation. It also seems to manifest itself in "ghost

Caller ID from Call Pickup
Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to get Caller ID information from a Call Pickup. specifically on a Cisco 79xx SIP handset. I've setup a speed dial line on my 7940 to dial *8 so I can quickly pickup a call, but because the 7940 initiates the call the information on the screen is "To: *8" I gather because of the call setup it's probably not possible to

Call Pickup with CID info
I was wondering if someone could help me with this, I've searched high and low to find more info but with no success. When I want to transfer a call from another ringing sip phone to my sip handset I dial *8. This works but the caller ID shows up as *8 on my handset. What I want to do is be able to have the original caller id come up on my SIP phone rather than *8. There was a page on

Can't get Pickup app working
I'm trying to set the Pickup feature. I'm setting my extensions.conf as: exten => _*.,1,Pickup(SIP/${EXTEN:1}) but if, for example, extension 03 is ringing by a call made from extension 01, and I try to pick it up from extension 02 (by dialing *03 from extension 02), I can see in the Asterisk console (Verbosity set to 10): -- Executing Dial("SIP/01-512c",

Can you monitor a call via the asterisk speaker system and do a call pickup if you wish
Reason. I have a fax/ans phone with handset, that lets you monitor the caller, so if you wish, you can pickup the call. The asterisk is undergoing testing, it will then be online tested at the house so I can get more familiar in setting components up, e.g. sip phones, voicemail, transfers etc. But, I really need the monitoring of the Voicemall being left, with the ability to pick up the

Howto pickup call from queue?
Hi all, how can I pickup a call from a queue? Which context parameter do I have to specify? The context that calls the queues application is ext-queues. This is what I tried so long (777 is the extension of the queue I want to pickup from): exten => _**ZXX,1,Noop(Attempt to Pickup ${EXTEN:2} by ${CALLERID(num)}) exten => _**ZXX,n,Pickup(${EXTEN:2}@from-did-direct) exten =>

call pickup and ring groups
I'm having trouble with call pickups. Suppose ring group is 100 and has extensions 101 and 102. Someone calls 100, 101 rings and 102 wants to pick the call up. If 102 dials **100, call pickup works. If 102 dials **101, call pickup fails. In my dialplan I have: exten => **101,1,NoOp(pickup extension) exten => **101,n,Pickup(101) exten => **101,n,NoOp(pickup group) exten =>

Mistake in the wiki's description of cmd Pickup() ?
Hi, according to the description of Pickup() on page http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+cmd+Pickup I can use this command to pickup a call at a certain extensions. When I try this with e.g. exten => *8200,1,Pickup(200) Asterisk tells me that the highest value for the Pickup command is 63. Wenn I enter the number of a callgroup instead of an extension, I can pickup the call.

Aastra phones and park/pickup feature
We are installing Aastra phones (480's and 57i's) into a fairly simple asterisk setup. Although call park & pickup work fine using xfer to 700 (to park), dial 701 (to pickup), we are unable to make the park/pickup softkey feature work on the aastra's. Although we've programmed the softkeys per the manuals, they seem to have no effect (just dead). For example, our 57i is

However, it is failed to pick up a call from PSTN thro' TDM400 card. It seems I can't guess the correct context of it. How can I know the context of the call using CLI? The default context of the TDM400 is from-pstn but pickup still

How can we pickup a call that is not going to a real extension?
Hello, We have a situation where a call comes in, users are notified via an external process (curl request to web service), and we can't answer the call until a callee can call in and pickup the call. How can we implement this functionality? We tried using : [caller-inbound-leg] ; code to send the CALL_UUID information to users. exten =>
