tdm400p not working with brazilian lines
Hi,
I'm installing an Asterisk box with a TDM2400P in Brazil. I can make
analog phones work while lines are not working. Since I do not know
anything about brazilian lines, is there anybody who can tell me what is
wrong/missing in my conf files (below)?

tdm2400p question
Hi all,
I'm confused, in digium website, it says:
TDM2400P: It supports a combination of up to 6 FXS and/or FXO modules for a
total of 24 lines.
6 plus 6 is 12, how come it's 24?
if I have 24 PSTN lines, i'll be needing 24 FXOs.
Pls. elaborate.

tdm2400p: fax detection not working
Hi,
I cannot make my TDM2400P (with Echo Canceller module) detect faxes. I
tried with a TDM400P and it worked at 80% (20% of faxes were lost). My
test conf.files are:
_zapata.conf_:

tdm2400p and asterisk 1.2.1
Hi,
I'd like to change 3 TDM400p with one TDM2400p to avoid echo (my
intention is to use a TDM2400P echo cancel module). It TDM2400p working
good with asterisk 1.2.1? Or I need to install a new asterisk version?

HELP!!!! Weird TDM2406E unable to bridge all outgoing calls.
Hi all,
I have TDM2406E with 24FXO ports connecting to 10 POTS line sitting in
my office. the out going calls symptom like when called party pickup the
phone but the calling party still hearing the ring tone from the IP phone.
Please light me up. it been many sleepless night by googling around
trying to get the right answers.

TDM2400p bad sound quality
Hi list,
I have this problem:
when someone is making a call, with asterisk and a TDM2400P connected to 8
fxo lines, the sound is good, but if three, for people are calling at the
same time the sound got worse and worse.
Using other voip cards the sound is much better even with all user calling
at the same time.
What can be, the problem?

problem about voice when using TDM2400p with VPMADT032 echo canceller module
hi you,
I'm having problem with voice quality on my trixbox using TDM2400B.The trixbox is connected via 20 FXO ports on a TDM2400 with the hardware echo cancel module. Echo cancel almost works, but the users hear what they describe as a 'background crackle/buzz' coming back when they talk.
anyone have the same problem? pls help me. thanks a lot.

TDM2400P
We just bougth a tdm2400p with all the modules for FXO, but we are
having some troubles with the card, cause it aparently is stripping
some digits from the dialed number, we tested the same server with a
tdm400 and everything worked as expected.
We?ve already added "w" before the dialed number with no results, is
there any way to solve, is it a bug

Echo problem in the analoge lines
Hi All;
To overcome the echo problem, what mainly I have to do in the configuration other than the following line in the system.conf under dahdi directory?
echocanceller=mg2,1-16
1) How can I know if the digium card supporting echo cancellator?
2) If I am getting a message in the consol that unable to enable the echo cancelator, then what does it means? The hardware is not supporting echo

TE411P Really Bad Echo
I just implemented a system using a TE411P hardware echo cancellation
card. Per Digium, I setup zaptel.conf, and zapata.conf the same way as
I always have. To my surprise calls out to the PSTN had a terrible
echo. 1 - 2 second delay, and quite clear. The echo was so bad that I
had to remove the hardware echo cancellation module from the card. We
are only using the 1st span of this card right

TDM2400p and HW echo canceller
Do the zaptel drivers need to be told >NOT< to use the software echo
canceller when using a TDM2400p card with hardware echo canceller, or
does the driver figure this out by itself?

Digium stopped TDM400P production: alternatives??
Hi,
Digium stopped to produce TDM400P and the new TDM410 is too new to find
it in our shops. The only alternative available is a "fully-compatible"
Openvox product...but is it really "fully-compatible"? Any experience
about Openvox products (card and zaptel versions, etc...)?

asterisk slows down when unplugging internet cable with VoIP lines
Hi,
I have an Asterisk 1.2.9.1 on a Debian Sarge distro connected to a VoIP
provider via internet.
I noticed Asterisk gets slow and behaves in strange manner if I unplug
my internet cable from the PBX: for example I get incoming calls after
seconds or I get no audio during calls.
I thought it was something connected to DNS resolution so I put VoIP
provider addresses inside /etc/hosts but

dahdi show status command not avilable in CLI
Hi All,
I have installed asteriskNow with Asterisk 1.6.2.11 and FreePBX
2.7.0.10. I have configured x100p fxo card in my asterisk box. But in my
cli mode i am not getting the command *"dahdi show status"*
Output of CLI :
astrisks*CLI> *dahdi show status*
No such command 'dahdi show status' (type 'core show help dahdi show' for
other possible commands)

Excessive Asterisk delay to answer on ZAP inbound call
Hi,
I have an asterisk 1.2.1 on a Debian Sarge distro with *three* TDM400P
(12 fxo ports). I noticed Asterisk is slow to answer inbound calls so I
connected an analog phone in parallel to make a test:

SOHO PBX using asterisk
