asterisk users - May 2006 - tdm2400p: fax detection not working

Hi,
I cannot make my TDM2400P (with Echo Canceller module) detect faxes. I 
tried with a TDM400P and it worked at 80% (20% of faxes were lost). My 
test conf.files are:

_zapata.conf_:

context = inbound
faxdetect = incoming
language = it
musiconhold = default
signalling = fxs_ks
callerid = "call_or_fax"
channel => 1

extensions.conf:

[inbound]
exten => s,1,Answer
exten => s,2,Playback(something)
exten => s,3,HangUp
exten => fax,1,NoOp(fax_detected)
exten => fax,2,HangUp

but asterisk always play the 'something' sound ignoring incoming faxes.

Any ideas?

This is a known problem with the hardware echo canceler. For the time
being, load the wctdm24xxp module with the 'vpmdtmfsupport=0' parameter
so that the software tone detector will be used.
