http://openprojects.rarcoa.com/~miztic/artifact.wav

one above, but they sound the same.
When using the aggressive echo suppressor, it seems like those artifacts

hi there
I'm trying to get asterisk going on gentoo 2005.1
I'm just getting my feet wet so I thought I would just stick with the
stable portage packages. Right now that's asterisk 1.0.8
I emerge asterisk with the following make.conf file:
CFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=i686"
CHOST="i386-pc-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"

they worked. In this older system, I was able to call into the

Audio problems on Zap & SIP, local network, not IRQ related?
I am trying to get to the bottom of audio clicks, pops, dropouts with my
Asterisk server. These occur even when the system is under minimal load
(e.g. 1 Zap device in a queue being played music on hold) and occurs with
both Zap and Sip devices so isn't network related. The audio problems occur
at the same time on all channels and seems to be when Asterisk "gets busy"

Trouble with Samba, SCO & HP Jet Direct
I've just installed an HP Jet Direct Network Print Server and configured
our SCO 5.0.2 box to print to it. I can send anything to it as long it's
from the Unix side. Then I configured Samba to share the printer and tried
sending a test page from one of the NT workstations but nothing came out
and I could find no error messages in the log files (even at debug level
9)! The log file just

- My VoIP provider to my VoIP phones through the same asterisk is OK.
- TDM to TDM through the same asterisk is OK.

Multisim: unable to initialize DAO/jet db engine
Hi all,
I have just tired to install Multisim 9 in wine. The program installs but gives an error 'unable to initialize DAO/jet db engine' halfway through. The program runs fine but there are no components in the component database.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Use winetricks to install MDAC 2.8 and Jet 4.0. One way to do so is to run these two commands:
winetricks mdac28
winetricks jet40
I know I'm reviving an old thread. I had the same problem today and so decided to reply. What software were you trying to install?
