We have a QuadBRI ISDN card from Digium. We would like to make it work with Fedora Core 4 (maybe FC3), but haven't succeeded. Compilation of bristuff from the Digium homepage fails, both the stable version with asterisk 1.0.9, and the experimental version with asterisk CVS-HEAD. Has anybody here succeeded to make this work? Or could we even be so lucky that somebody made RPMs for this? Lars

Thanks. I think our problem ca be similar. Have you tried to call from analog phone #1 to another analog phone #2? It works. But when you try to call vice versa from #2 to #1 it does not work. Hi, we are trying to install Junghann's quadBRI into Dell PowerEdge 2800 system without success. I don't know if the issue can be that Junghann's card fits 32-bit slot and Dell PE 2800 has only 3 PCI-X 64-bit slots. Can this be an issue? We get "CRC errors for HDLC frame" when the card is initialized. Any idea what can be wrong? 1/ We use latest bristuff packages. 2/

Hi Alessio Yes, the problems you report do seem similar to the issues I had. I found on the Dells that the audio prompts were very choppy and played slower than normal. Occasionally there would be 'bursts' oav a second or so of 'good' audio. I also suspected IRQ issues but the Dell Mobos had no way of adjusting them. Best thing is to try and get the card on its own unshared

Yes, i know that there are many ISDN card on the market. But when i spend money for ISDN card, i prefer to be Digiums, to get all support and help Asterisk :).
