AVM B1 and PTP mode
Hi !
I've fetched a spare AVM B1 card from the cellar, and installed it. After
"modprobe b1pci" I did "capiinit" and capiinit moaned about a missing
t1.b4.
So I search the web and found one at
http://www.avm.de/ftp/cardware/b1/x_misc/ddi/. When I now look at the
controller, I finally see p2p-mode:

AVM C2 chan_capi-cm-0.6.3 Error on Dial
I'm getting a strange error on one of the two controllers on an AVM C2
card under chan_capi-cm-0.6.3.
I have two ISDN controllers defined, both in the same group, both
connections are UK ISDN2e Point to Point:
On the third outbound call (both of the first two calls are handled by
the second controller "ISDN2",) I get this error :

avm c2 correct configuration for two p2p lines
I have an asterisk box connected to two isdn lines via an AVM c2 card,
the ISDN boxes have the 0227006XXX and 0227007XXX numbers, and are
configured both p2p, with the first one as file-leader.
(I don't know if file-leader is the correct term, it's a literal
translation from the italian term "capofila", in other words
0227006XXX is our "real" number, and when the 2 B

chan_capi configuration with AVM C2 card
Hi;
I've been asked to take a (remote) look at an Asterisk@home system
running asterisk 1.0.9 on Centos 3.5. It's running chan_capi-0.3.5
It has an AVM c2 ISDN card which is plugged into what I believe to be a
couple of BT ISDN2e "System Access" (i.e. point to point) connections.
We've placed a support call to BT to find out how these lines are
actually provisioned, but

CAPI: Early-B3 working with AVM-B1?
Hi,
I tested the capi_chan with latest cvs of * and I have problems with
Early-B3. The following dialstring works for me (without Early B3):
exten => _0X.,1,Dial(CAPI/@22715291:${EXTEN:1}|30)
But if I add the 'b' for using Early-B3
exten => _0X.,1,Dial(CAPI/@22715291:b${EXTEN:1}|30)
nothing changes (no dialtone). If in this example the called party
discards the call, there is no

AVM C4, asterisk-1.0.8, /etc/asterisk/capi.conf
Has anyone a working /etc/asterisk/capi.conf example for Germany or
Switzerland using the AVM C4 - ISDN Card.
I try to connect asterisk to 3 wires BRI-ISDN (Swisscom).
I appreciate your help and it would save me a lot of time, figuring
it out by myself.

AVM Fritz! + chan_capi + mISDN + PTP
Hello everyone,
I have been using an AVM Fritz! card with chan_capi and mISDN for
quite a while in PTM mode and it was working finely.
Now, I needed more DID/MSN, so I switched to PTP. But now nothing
works anymore :(
I am using Asterisk on Debian Sarge stable and installed Asterisk
along with chan_capi from apt-get. I installed mISDN from the CVS of
isdn4linux.de.
It is :

B410P and Patton smartnode : any success ?
Hi,
1. Has someone met any success at all, connecting a Digium B410P to a Patton
Smartnode 4638 (with latest 5.3 firmware) ?
2. If positive, then, which signalling was used on both sides ?
My project's goal is use a Patton Smartnode 4638 to act as telco BRI lines,
from a B410P-enabled asterisk box.
In my testings, I can see channel is respectively up (with patton web server
status page)

dss1 progressing message on zap channel
I am going to try to figure out why mu asterisk box connected by back to back cable to an PRI appliance is not going to send the PROGRESSING dss1 message.
In fact i see the SETUP and the follwing CALL PROCEEDING but not the PROGRESSING so the appliance doesn't allow the "early audio" !!!!!

Asterisk 1.2.23 and Sangoma a102 no incoming call detected
Hi,
after many issues we finally managed to make our system do outgoing
calls with perfect quality.
However I cannot detect *any* form of incoming call. when I use an
outside phone to call the E1 connected to the sangoma a102, I
instantly get a fast busy tone.
My /etc/zaptel.conf is:
loadzone=us
defaultzone=us
