TDM400 stopped working
I excitedly installed my TDM dev kit earlier this weekend, installing
asterisk and all the kernel drivers to make it work. And it did, it was
fantastic.
I then reboot the machine, and even after doing a modprobe wctdm, I get
the following:

Hi,
I have a running asterisk 1.2.1 (bristuffed) with a TDM400 Board. Connected
to 1 port is am ordanary Fax Machine. Everything 'seems' to work,
however receiving faxes is very unreliable.
Sometimes I receive a normal page, without problems. Sometimes
half of a page and the rest is scrambled, but most often, I receive
nothing and the other site reports a Fax error...

TDM400P Sync source
Hi,
I am trying to track down the reason to my problems with sending and reciving fax with my PRI and 2 TDM400P Cards:
PSTN <-> PRI (E100P) <-> * <-> TDM400P <-> Fax Machine
I have used Zapbarge to listen to the data stream, but I can't say if it really have some time slips - fax kinda noisy in itself.
Using the zttool i saw the Sync source for the TDM are

TDM400p
On the Digium's site it says:
The Wildcard TDM400P is a half-length PCI 2.2-compliant card
while for other cards it says:
The TE411P is for use only with a 3.3 volt PCI slot.
Does the TDM400 not only fits, but also functions in a 3.3V only slot?
>From what i detected so far, is that some MOBO manufactures have
pci-slots that provide 3.3 Volt AND 5.0 Volt, thus can handle all kind

TDM400P : no dial tone...
Hi,
I recently installed a gentoo on a PC, purchased a TDM400 and installed
asterisk.
Kernel is 2.6.11-rc3
First, there seems to be a problem with my system: I must put the
pci=routeirq to make the card detected.
The modules are loaded ok (dmesg output)

TDM400P not answering or making calls
Hello,
I have recently purchased a TDM400P card with one FXO expansion card,
and I'm having problems.
The card does not pick up incoming calls. Asterisk detects the ringing
line and rings various SIP phones as required. When a sip phone
answers, the sip user hears nothing and the PSTN user continues to
hear ringing. Here is the asterisk output for an incoming call:

Problem using TDM400P FXS card
Hello, everyone
After having spent several time to look for any
solution for my problem, I decided to write here.
Here is the problem got a Digium X101 FXO card and
Digium TDM400P alias freshmaker (1 fxs module on it on
first port ) in my asterisk box. The X101 works
perfectly.
The problem comes from the TDM400, when i plug a
tested working phone on it , i get no dialtone; the

TDM400 and TDM800 fxo stop answering
Hi, I have two asterisk with the Digium TDM400 installed on the first and
the TDM800 installed on the second. Both systems are linux Debian 4.0 whith
kernel 2.6.18 and asterisk 1.2.24.
Often the cards stop answering calls, and I can't make or receive calls; I
need to reboot the system or manually reload the zaptel modules to restore
it.
I've tried zaptel versions 1.2.18, 1.2.19 and 1.2.20

Do I need a ring capacitor to use TDM400P cards in UK
Hello
I have played about with a TDM400 card and plugged in some standard analog phones. I am using the card in FXS mode - for analog extensions. I did notice that one of my phones did not ring and I wondered why. I later read in Paul Mahler's book VoIP Telephony with Asterisk that in his section on the TDM400 on page 127 he says "In the UK, you may need an adapter that provides a

X101P + TDM400P
I thought I'd share my Asterisk experience, which hasn't exactly been as
pleasant as I would like but now seems usable in most ways and more then
I expected in other ways. I wanted a home PBX system, that would let me
treat different callers different ways depending on CID.
I initially bought the Digium developer's kit to try things out. That's a
single port TDM400 and a X101P.

Dialing out on TDM400p 4 port FXO
Hi,
I have two small companies that are going to be sharing a * box. I have 2
TDM400's with 4 fxo ports each.
Each company has its own sales person and they would like the sales people
to always show their own caller id and have their own lines ring directly to
their phones. Company 1 sales person uses the 1 port on the tdm400 and
company 2 sales person uses the 2nd port of the tdm400.

x110p -> tdm400p -> answering machine ISSUE
Ever since late September I am unable to get any newer version of zaptel drivers
on a machine I keep at home to play with.
If I am not home and the answering machine gets the call the system hangs up
on the caller during the greeting but if I'm there to answer it, the call will work fine.
If I use an older copy of zaptel it doesnt happen at all so it has to be something

X100P installed OK, after added TDM400P Asterisk would no longer start
Hello
I setup Asterisk@Home with purely VoIP and it worked fine. I then added an
X100P card so I could call out / take inbound calls via PSTN and that went
fine. But I have just added a TDM400P card (specifically a TDM30B) and now
problems.
Here is some of the output. Any ideas on what I should be looking at next?
When I run genzaptelconf -s -d I get lots of erors on screen - bit I can

Static noise and server locked when using two 4FXO tdm400p pci cards
Hello all
We have tested for a mounth or two an asterisk PBX using one T1 channel
bank with 24 fxs and one TDM400P digium card with 4 FXO modules.
This worked with minor problems, the most notorious being some sporadic
static noice or failure in the first FXO module on the wildcard.
Now we have a client with 12 pstn lines and 48 extensions and we are
trying to deploy an Asterisk PBX server

Digium stopped TDM400P production: alternatives??
Hi,
Digium stopped to produce TDM400P and the new TDM410 is too new to find
it in our shops. The only alternative available is a "fully-compatible"
Openvox product...but is it really "fully-compatible"? Any experience
about Openvox products (card and zaptel versions, etc...)?
Thank you!
Giorgio.

tdm400p lockups
I have a system that has a TDM400 with 3 FXO modules. Recently, the
system started not seeing the ports. No answer, no lines available
for oubound dial, and only a reboot of the machine will bring it back.
Any ideas to try?
Thanks,
Tim

Re: tdm400p static - out of ideas (Jorge Mendoza)
Ryan, from the console what does "zap show channel 1" or 2/3/4 in your
case say.
I have X100P's and I seem to be having similar sounding problems. I
noticed that the above command shows the channel to be off-hook at all
times when a phone line is plugged in.
I don't know why or if it is a bug in the application reporting the status.

S110M not working
Hi All -
I pulled from a working system a TDM400 with one s110 fxs and three
x100 fxos. I put it into a new box and the fxs no longer works. The
fxos work just fine. I thought it was odd, but I chalked it up to a
random chance failure and ordered another s110. The replacement
doesn't work either, and now I'm confused.
dahdi_scan recognizes the s110, but it says it fails. Output

DID on TDM400P Question?
Does anyone know if the current TDM400 card can take DID digits from the LEC?
If so is there any reference to how to set this all up? As I get my current
service from my LEC over an IAD, so would be sweet to just have trunks, not
each channel specific to a number.
Also if the above is possible, if the line is being used for DID, then is
this only workable for inbound, or can I also seize the
