TDM04B, trunk group
Hi,
I am just trying to figure out how to setup a TDM04B card for
incoming/outgoing calls. I have 4 lines, which are provided as a rotary
trunk group, currently hooked into a Nortel system, which asterisk will
replace. I have setup a Dell 1800 (Tower) system with the TDM04B card,
which seems to work.
The question is how do I set it up that all 4 lines are part of a trunk
group, such that

TDM04B
Hi,
I recently got a TDM04B and after installing and getting asterisk up and
running I connected a handset to one of the ports. Unfortunately I don't
get a dial tone when I lift the handset.
What could be the cause of this?
Could someone point me in the direction of a proper config for a TDM04B?
Thanks.

TDM04B - Takes long to initialize...
Hello All,
I got my TDM04B card installed and configured.
Everything works fine I can receive calls and route to appropriate
extensions.
The only problem I am facing is Slowness.
When I dial the PSTN number which is connected to Zap 1-1 after two
ring it answers and then run the AGI script. What I did was assign it
to a specific extension. So all inbound call on that PSTN number

Problem with Digium TDM04B
I have installed Digium TDM04B with the latest CVS. However I have
encountered following problems:
1. When it dials out, many times the digits are not properly recognized
by telco as I hear the announcement "please check the number and dial
again" although I see on the screen that the dialed number is correct.
2. When the call is forwarded outside, with something like

TDM04B vs Dell revisited
Hi,
A week or so ago I wrote about the problems I was having using a Digium TDM04B
card in a Dell PowerEdge 750 IU running Fedora Core 1. Digium steadfastly
indicates
their card won't work in any PowerEdge 650, 700 and 750 series machines "do
(sic)
to a failure in interrupt handling between the pci bus and the card."
My question to the list is: for those of you using a TDM04B

US CallerID and TDM04B
Hello All,
I have new TDM04B installed and working fine with Asterisk 1.0.5 built on RedHat 9.
All is working fine except CallerID that bothers me big time.
I have several Panasonic and Sony phones and CallerID works fine with it (when I plug in the line into phone instead into Asterisk I get CallerID) but fails with Asterisk.
I am based in California (San Francisco) and my Telco is SBC

RE: how to manage Digium TDM04B outgoing calls
-----Original Message-----
My question
concern outgoing calls. How can I configure my extensions.conf to get a
PSTN line on my TDM04B card in the following order : first trying on the
channel 4 then if 4 is busy then switch to 3 if 3 is busy then switch to
2 and if 2 is busy then say there's no more line available. I don't want
to dial on the first channel as it's my main number

TDM04B Dead?
Hi,
I just received in the mail my TDM04B card and put it in the computer,
now the computer won't even show the video card bios or the post
screen. From the digium website I could not find any specific
requirements for the pci card, like 32 or 64 bit slot. The motherboard
for the computer I put it in is an Asus A7V333 with PCI 2.2 compliant
slots. I am thinking that maybe I just got a dud

how to add more TDM04B
I already have one Digium TDM04B installed in my server working fine. I
just received 2 more so I did added them to my server. When I booted
again linux told me that it found new hardware I said ignore. Then I log
in as usual. I did ztcfg -vv to see if it sees 12 channels now instead
of 4 but it only see 4. So then I did again modprobe zaptel, then
modprobe wcfxo and wcfxs hoping it would see

Help Configuring TDM04B
Hi:
I had an fxo card from Digitnetworks and it was
working fine on my Asterisk box. I then replaced it
with TDM04B. I changed the zaptel and zapata to
include the four channels. When I run ztcfg, I get
configuration errors:

Channel 02: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 02)
Channel 03: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 03)

tdm04b slow response
Hi,
After days tinkering with this digium card (TDM04B), I notice that this
card has a slow response in detecting ring signal from pstn and hanging
up when the call is over.
The delay can consume up to several seconds...
Is this normal?
Best regards,
Stevanus

How can you check that eg TDM04B hardware installed and drivers OK
Hello
I am struggling to get my TDM04B working. Just to rule out a hardware problem how can I check that the hardware works? How can I then check that the drivers are loaded correctly?

how to manage Digium TDM04B outgoing calls correctly
I'm installing my first Asterisk server. I have a TDM04B card installed
in my asterisk server (4x FXO ports). I have 5 Cisco IP phone 7960

working as expected meaning anyone calling on one of the 4 FXO ports is
answer by asterisk and asked to enter the extension of the person to
reach and then it is transfer on the

delay before dial on TDM04B
I am searching for a way to add a 2 second delay before calling out with
Dial().
Sometimes I get the message "you must first dial a 1 to place this call".
I presume the phone company is missing the first digit pulsed out sometimes.
How do I put a 2 second delay after coming offhook and before dialing
the digits?
Thanks,

TDM04B problems
I have a TDM04B installed that isn't working 100% with Asterisk. I'm
using the cvs-head of the zaptel drivers and asterisk with FC3 on a 2.6
kernel.
I have successfully created a call on one of the channels, but there are
a few problems. Even on channels with no analog line connected to them,
after a few seconds (without reporting ringing) Asterisk will report
that the call has been
