Zaptel HDLC (NetHDLC) errors on modprobe, Linux 2.6 kernel
I have my Linux 2.6 kernel with the necessary HDLC config and also recompiled
zaptel accordingly. On modprobe, I get:

Data through T1, nethdlc
Hello all,
My set up is a fractionated t1, with 1-6 voice channels, 21-24 data
channels. I have a t100P installed in a amd 1500 with 512meg.
Question:
In order to set up the data channels, is the following correct?
1) compile new kernel with generic hdlc support
2) compile hdlc from hq.pm.waw.pl/hdlc
3) uncomment KFLAGS+=DConfig_ZAPATA_NET in zaptel makefile
4) compile zaptel,
5 compile rest

Having trouble with T405P and PPP: ZT_SPANCONFIG failed
Hello!
I am trying to set up multi-link PPP using two T100P cards in one
machine, and 1 T405P card (the 4-port one) in another machine. I have
previously been able to get PPP working between the two T100P cards
in separate machines....
The 4-port card seems to be my problem currently. I am trying to use the tor2
driver (from a fresh CVS download this morning). When I load the driver (or run

Installed ztdummy, Asterisk doesnt work anymore
Hi
Since Im using the mISDN drivers and no zaptel stuff, I had to install
ztdummy to get MeetMe to work. Well, that was the plan. Now, after getting
the latest zaptel version over CVS (Im using Kernel 2.6), uncommenting all
the modules except ztdummy in zaptel.sysconfig file and compiling this by
"make", "make install" and "make linux26", I rebooted and

ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 11: Function not implemented (38)
I am running RedHat Fedora Core 3 with their "kernel-2.6.10-1.741_FC3" kernel,
and if I use nethdlc in zaptel.conf, when I run ztcfg I get the message:
ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 11: Function not implemented (38)
Does anyone have ideas on how I can work around this issue?

asterisk 1.2.4 doesn't detect the PSTN hang up
Hy,
I'm writing from Spain.
I have the 1.2.4 asterisk version and 1.2.3 zaptel version. I've heart
that this asterisk's version detects correctly de hang up of PSTN, but
in my case this thing doesn't happen.
Moreover, my asterisk sends the next messages in the CLI:

Sangoma card A101 Card troubles.
Hiya all,
I have had no end of trouble trying to get my A101 E1 card working on
a new asterisk installation. The sangoma tech people have ignored my emails
about this.
All the installation of wanpipe seems to go ok, and zaptel. it all installed
compiled and does all the wanpipe hwprobe exactly as documented.
Asterisk compiled ok, but when I run it give me

ZT_CHANCONFIG - function not implemented (38)
I'm trying to use ztcfg with the following zaptel.conf:
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs
bchan=1-4
nethdlc 5-23
dchan=24
and I get "ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 5: Function not implemented
(38).
This is on Debian 2.4.26.
I have hdlc compiled as a module. Should hdlc be compiled into the
kernel? Does anyone see a problem here?
Thanks,
