TDM400 FXO not responding to inbound rings after 30ish days?
I am having an issue where my TDM400P FXO module stops acknowledging
incoming rings after running for about a month.
My system is an AMD Athlon XP 2800+ with 256MB RAM, ABIT NF7S
motherboard, Slackware (Linux 2.4.26) and Asterisk from CVS Stable (1.0).
All outbound dialing continues to work during this condition. Stopping
and restarting Asterisk does not resolve this issue. The only resolution

TDM400 and TDM800 fxo stop answering
Hi, I have two asterisk with the Digium TDM400 installed on the first and
the TDM800 installed on the second. Both systems are linux Debian 4.0 whith
kernel 2.6.18 and asterisk 1.2.24.
Often the cards stop answering calls, and I can't make or receive calls; I
need to reboot the system or manually reload the zaptel modules to restore
it.
I've tried zaptel versions 1.2.18, 1.2.19 and 1.2.20

TDM400 stopped bridging outgoing FXO call
My TDM400/zaptel 1.2.10/Asterisk 1.2.13 suddenly stopped bridging outgoing
FXO calls. If I make a call (from an FXS channel) to a PSTN destination,
and the other side answers, Asterisk will show continued ringback on the FXS
channel, while the PSTN side hears silence. No error message appears.
If a call from PSTN terminates on the same FXO, Asterisk can still ring the
FXS channel, and when

TDM400 FXO outgoing call only
I have an analogue line connected to an FXO module on a TDM400. I want
to use the FXO line only for outgoing calls - incoming calls are
answered by other equipment, but even if I don't specify an "s"
extension, the FXO module still seizes the line for all incoming calls.
Is it possible to configure the FXO module to ignore ring events
completely? Wiki resources etc have been no

Monitoring a telco line for MWI through a TDM400 FXO
Folks,
I've tried to find a reference, but I've had no luck, and would
appreciate your thoughts:
I'd like to be able to monitor a telco line for Message Waiting
Notification, however I cannot figure out if this capability is
available.
Detecting either FSK or Stuttered Dial tone would serve, but I can't
find anything in the list archives or Wiki with clues as to how this
might

TDM400 FXO module not answering or dialing out.
Hi all,
I have hit a wall configuring a TDM400, I have set these up before without
issue but today I just can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.
On an incoming call the following is produced in the Asterisk console with

TDM400 with FXS some handsets not ringing
Folks,
I have a TDM400 with an FXS module. I'm having some trouble ringing
some phones attached to the device.
I have a real el cheapo handset that cost me about 9UKP. It works fine,
I plug it into the Wildcard and call the channel and it rings.
I have tried plugging in my BT Diverse 3016 cordless phone but it will
not ring, although I can call out from it.
I have also tried my GPO 332L

TDM400 and Phone does not 'ring'
I have a running * with a TDM40B board in it.
I have 3 analog phones that works (rings) perfectly when connected
to a Telco POTS line.
When connected to the Digium TDM40B (with FXS port), I have problems
with 'ringing':
1 phone 'ringes' normally
1 phone 'ringes' a bit cripled (instead of ring-ring... ring-ring..., it
does 'ring-ri... ri.... ring... ri...)

Spurious ring burst on TDM400 FXS port
G'day all,
A weird problem has just started happening with my * server, and I've
googled myself stupid looking for help. My system is latest CVS, a
TDM400P with two FXS modules, two X101Ps, and VoIP connections (SIP, SCCP
& IAX2).
My wife complained about her extension (analogue, on one of the TDM400
ports) being dead -- no dialtone. I had to shut down *, then unload and
reload the

Ring voltage on a TDM400
I just replaced a Cisco ATA 186 with a TDM400 in Asterisk and I don't
have juice to get an outdoor bell to ring. Is there a setting to up the
power?

Can I add distinctive ring with asterisk and TDM400?
Hello -
I have a TDM400P with 2 FXO and 2 FXS modules.
Feeding the FXS modules are two VOIP lines which are terminated by
VOIP adapters and have regular RJ11 wires connecting to the FXS ports.
Since the two different VOIP lines have different phone numbers, and I
know and can tell asterisk which VOIP line is connected to which FXS
port, can I cause a distinctive ring on the extensions if a call

Dialing out on TDM400p 4 port FXO
Hi,
I have two small companies that are going to be sharing a * box. I have 2
TDM400's with 4 fxo ports each.
Each company has its own sales person and they would like the sales people
to always show their own caller id and have their own lines ring directly to
their phones. Company 1 sales person uses the 1 port on the tdm400 and
company 2 sales person uses the 2nd port of the tdm400.

HW Question (TDM400)
Hi, all
Did anyone tried TDM400 card on old main board (Intel 440LX chipset -- PII)? The reason I am asking is because TDM400 needs PCI2.2 and main board is PCI2.1
I do not want to upgrade yet.
Thanks,

TDM400 problem
I recently swapped 2 FXO modules on to what had previously been a 4 FXS
version of the TDM400 board. The FXS ports are recognized - the FXO
ports don't appear to be recognized (ie modprobe wcfxo and ztcfg both
say channel 1 isn't there). Has anyone experienced this problem? All
software is current as of this AM. If the old FXS modules are
re-installed all works just dandy (other than

Config TE410P + TDM400
When configuring a TE410P which is only attached to a single E1 together
with a TDM400, how should one count the channels for the next Zap interface?
Must I put 4 span lines in zapata.conf and define all channels up to 124?
thus having the TDM400's start at 125? Or can I comment out the 3 spans I
don't use and start at channel 32 for the TDM400? (this would get nasty when
adding extra

TDM400 hungup problem
Hi all,
We have tested both tdm400 and BRI 1 port HFC based with mISDN driver
and with both cards we have the same problem... so probably it's due to
our misconfiguration, but we couldn't find anything useful on google.
With TDM400 we can place and receive calls, but if we receive a call
from TDM400 and we reject it from a sip phone , asterisk send the hangup
but the line continue to

TDM400 synch issue
Hello,
I have the following configuration :
E100P -> * -> TDM400 -> Modem
When I receive FAXes, about 20% of them are corrupted : pages are not always
complete. If the fax is complex or with numerous pages, it's usually a mess.
Before that, I was using spandsp with success. Unfortunately it's too picky
with some broken fax (training failed).
Since this failure only occurs with

TDM400 in aging Dell Optiplex
I've got an old Dell Optiplex (Pentium-II, 1998 Vintage) which is
successfully running an X100P card. I'm hoping to upgrade to a TDM400.
Has anybody tried running these cards in old Optiplex machines? I'm not
particularly worried about horsepower - more about the motherboard having
a PCI bus that's able to power up the card...
