TDM400 not working
Hi, all
I have installed TDM400 card. I can see it is there (lspci).
But Asterisk does not find it.
phonebox2*CLI> zap show status
No Zaptel interface found.
I assume that driver is not loaded, but I am sure I have installed it (I
compiled zaptel and then re-build asterisk and did make install for both
zaptel and asterisk).
When asterisk is started I get:

spandsp, rxfax, TDM400/zaptel, missed frames, any help?
Sorry in advance if this is a FAQ...
I've got a working Asterisk setup based on A@H 2.2. I have a TDM400
card with 2 FXS and 2 FXO ports; PSTN connections come in via the TDM
card.
I haven't been able to get inbound fax with spandsp and rxfax to work.
Occasionally an all-text fax will come in, though it's usually badly
corrupted, but in most cases, it would appear that the call is

Hook flash time problem on TDM400/FXS
I have been trying for some time now to make the hook flash work on the
FXS port.
I am using Asterisk 1.4.10.1 with zaptel 1.4.4.
When I "manually" flash the hook I can manage to find the duration to put
a call on hold. However when pushing the flash button it never works. The
phone's flashtime seems to be too short. I tried to set a shorter
flashtime in the zapata.conf file, but it

X100P stopped working
I recompiled Asterisk with the aggressive echo cancellation on. That's
all I changed, honest. After recompiling, it refused to run. I tried
updating the source, etc, and eventually went back to no echo
cancellation. Every time, I got this error while starting Asterisk.
Please help! I have no idea what went wrong.
Oh, and yes, wcfxo and zaptel are loaded, I checked with lsmod. I

TDM400 one way calls
Dear All
I have a problem with a TDM400 card with 4 x FXS modules.
The card carries extensions only and there are no incoming lines.
I can make a call to the extension on this card with no problems.
However, when I try and call out I just get a busy signal.
I also get an error message (as shown at the bottom). Is this a problem?

Second X100P card won't work
Greetings all,
I've just put two X100P cards to my box and despite trying everything I
can find on the web, I can't get the second one to work.
I've edited /etc/modules.conf so that ztcfg doesn't run automatically.
To start, I run:
/sbin/modprobe zaptel
/sbin/modprobe wcfxo
/sbin/ztcfg
/sbin/modprobe ixj
and ztcfg says:

bad(?) TDM400 card?
I just had to move all my disk drives and PCI cards, including the
Digium TDM400P, into a new box when the motherboard died. Now that the
new box is up and running, my FXS ports no longer work although the FXO
port does. I am hoping someone can help me diagnose and debug. I am
running Fedora 8, asterisk asterisk-1.4.21, and zaptel-1.4.9 . Yes, I
realize that this is old software and that zaptel

TDM400P strangeness
Hi List,
I have a test asterisk box with a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules plugged in.
Yesterday I could use the box without any issues - no problems.
This morning, the sound on the box was absolutely horrible. After some
fiddling about, I have rebooted the box, and now asterisk refuses to start!
Here's the message I get:

TDM400P problems with 1 FXS, 1 FXO
Hi-
I'm totally stumped configuring my TDM400P with one FXS and one FXO
module. Before I got the FXO module, I used to have an X101P, and
everything was working very well. Now * doesn't seem to recognize the
FXO channel. I've searched the wiki and the list archives. Stock Debian
3.0 stable installation. Any advice? Thanks.
