Number of Digium cards in one box...
I know, I know, check the archives but I can't find an answer since the new cards are well, NEW! I understand the whole issue of expandability and flexibility of using a T1 card and an Adtran 750. FXO or FXS, you mix and match. With the new card offerings from Digium I can easily put a 4CO by 8 Station system together. Barring the extra interrupts, extra CPU Cycles of extra interfaces, is

My first Asterisk - Not recognizing X100P clone
Hi, I'm cutting my teeth setting up a home asterisk server, but having some trouble getting Zaptel to recognize a X100P clone PCI (Motorola SM56 which should work according to various wiki's). What struck me was that the "/proc/interrupts" do not include IRQ 11 as the "lpcpi -v" is reporting. Am I missing something fundamental here? Any hint is greatly

te110p and interrupts
Guys. I have an issue with a te110p card and also some tdm04b cards on the same system: Zttest returns this for the tdm04b cards: [root@mollendo ~]# /usr/src/zaptel-1.2.4/zttest 38 -v Opened pseudo zap interface, measuring accuracy... 8192 samples in 8191 sample intervals 99.987793% 8192 samples in 8192 sample intervals 100.000000% 8192 samples in 8192 sample intervals 100.000000% 8192 samples

RE : TDM2400p bad sound quality
Hi Francois, Thank you for your interest. I tried the card alone so I don't think is an IRQ problem (anyway is there a way to be sure?) To be sincere, in all systems I saw (even working ones) there is an IRQ balance failed where Linux boots. The system is new, I tried different processors (P4 and Celeron) with SMP kernel and without. The card has the echo module, could not be

ZAPTEL PROBLEM
Hi all, I am using a TDM400P card with 2 FXS and 2 FXO modules. Everything seems nice, but i'm not able to make calls nor to receive any. When I try to make a call, I keep receiven the "all circuits are busy now" message, and when I receive calls, asterisk doesn't seems to care (don't get anything on the CLI) I'm using Asterisk 1.2.17 and Zaptel 1.2.16 from Xorcom's

Yet again: chan_zap.c: Unable to specify channel 4: No such device
I have seen this in the archives any number of times -- but I have yet to find a solution that works for me. Any suggestions you can offer would be most appreciated. Here are the answers to the questions I have seen asked in earlier posts. The log contains: Mar 10 12:26:29 WARNING[3015] chan_zap.c: Unable to specify channel 4: No such device Mar 10 12:26:29 ERROR[3015] chan_zap.c: Unable

Problem with zaptel drivers or card
I have an Asterisk box running Fedora Core 4, Asterisk 1.4, Lippri, 1.4, and Zaptel 1.4 The Digium cards installed are TDM2400 and TE110P. Everything was working fine until I upgraded to zaptel 1.2.12 from 1.2.9 Now when I run ztcfg I get the following error message: (CAS signalling on span 2 conflicts with Clear channel on channel 40) --NOTE: signaling was spelled wrong in the error

Do I have to worry about interrupt sharing here?
Hello I am using a Junghanns QuadBRI ISDN card - the module name is qozap. If I like at my interrupt assignment, qozap is sharing interrupt 10 with libata and uhci_hcd. I think libata is the IDE hard drive module and uhci_hcd is a USB module. linux:~ # modprobe qozap linux:~ # cat /proc/interrupts CPU0 0: 12634579 XT-PIC timer 1: 10 XT-PIC i8042

Cannot load wcfxo -- Please help!
I'm afraid that I am at a loss here. I am new to Asterisk, and have successfully set up SIP. But I cannot get my FXS card working, and I'm not sure what else I can try. # modprobe wcfxo /lib/modules/2.4.21-37.0.1.ELsmp/misc/wcfxo.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. Unable to load module chan_zap.so
I am having trouble with chan_zap.so not loading. When I load it from modules.conf, Asterisk bails out without any error message. When I load it from the console, it just says "Unable to load module chan_zap.so" no matter what verbose level I am using. dmesg says: Zaptel Version: 1.4.4 Zaptel Echo Canceller: MG2 Freshmaker version: 73 Freshmaker passed register test Module 0:

Empty Wildcard TDM400P as a MeetMe timer.
I've just moved into 3.3v PCI servers and found that my clone X100P cards were lying about the 3.3v supported notch. Can I use a Wildcard TDM400P without any modules as a timer for MeetMe in a 64 bit 3.3v server? Will I still need to plug the hard disk power cable into it? Is there a better cheaper 3.3v MeetMe timer? (Boss doesn't trust the kernel timer.) -HJC
