Hi list! Does anyone have experiences with the updated model of the Kirk IP600? The V3 model is supposed to support SIP instead of only SCCP or H323 which would make the use with Asterisk a lot easier. I have only tested the Kirk IP600 V2 with SCCP / Skinny protocol which is still giving me severe headaches : - the standard Skinny driver in * doesn't work, only the version of Sergio

Hi list! I'm trying to configure the Kirk IP 600 wireless (DECT) system. The wireless phones are regular DECT phones, the Kirk IP 600 is doing the voip part by registering/gatewaying the phones to a callmanager server. The phones do not work and I think the problem is that they do not register at asterisk but I'm not sure because I don't understand a thing of the sccp/skinny

They now have a Siemens or a Samsung PBX. Those PBX-es come with a DECT basestation and optionally repeaters etc. All those basestations speak some own protocol to the PBX, so we cannot use them

Hello, I have configured my polycom ip600 and ip500. The phone works well. But the clock is wrong and flashes the whole time. Drives me nuts! I have set the time offset on the DHCP / boot server. 36000 (I'm in Australia!) It doesn't seem to help... Mike

Hi, I'm testing a Polycom IP600. With firmware version 1.1 the phone reboots at any time. With firmware version 1.2, the first reboot was an endless reboot. Then I moved the phone to another lan port, then it worked fine. Then I installed again in the initial lan port and the phone works well. However after some time of inactivity (1 hour?), the IP600 stops to send and receive calls.

The piece of plastic is built in to the IP600. Use a screwdriver or something similar and push the little piece of plastic out from the top inside the cradle.
