TDM - Analog Trunk - CallerID question
Hello list.
I have a question about how to read the incoming calls' callerid on an
FXO interface of a TDM 400 analog card; (it's one of those RED modules).
Now -may this is the complexity adding step..- I have a GSM gateway
attached to this FXO thing; incoming calls are processed as they should.
But both when peeking on the CLI, as well as in the phone display I do
not see the caller id.

X100P and UK CallerID
Hi,
I'm currently running asterisk 1.0.9-r1 and zaptel 1.0.9_p1-r1 (the
current gentoo ~x86 versions), with the UK CallerID patches from
http://www.lusyn.com/asterisk/patches.html applied.
The Zap interface itself seems to work fairly well - although it's a
little quiet, there is no echo. Unfortunately, there's also no
CallerID.
My zapata.conf is as follows:

TDM22B in the UK on BT
Hi
I am having problems getting my card to hang up properly when a remote
party hangs up the line.
I know i have to use the busydetect stuff but it doesn't seem to be
working.
It is a BT line and my zapata.conf is as follows:

txgain=0.0

"HiarPinning" via TDM400 in the UK ...
So I have an application where the users want to divert incoming calls on
one analogue line out to another analogue line - both lines are supplied
by BT and theres a TDM400 in the box.
Call comes in, system Dial's the forwarding number and bridges the calls.
Works fine.
Until one (or both) leg hangs up.
And the box never sees the hangup.
So it sits there with both Zap channels open

US Caller ID
Okay, I can't find what might be causing this. Here is what I got:
Asterisk server hooked up to a digital T1 line (full 24-channel) via a
Digium card.
Verizon has turned on caller ID on the first line (I can guarantee it
is on as I can hear the FSK tones on this line but not the others).
Using zttool an ZapScan() I have determined the following:

Ang: Re: Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hi all!
I am in the same situation here in Sweden, but I just got the X100 card and don t get it to work with DTMF caller ID.
Is the only way to solve this to buy a TDM400 card w FXO modules?
Is it just a driver question or a HW issue with the X100 card?
Where to find dok about the new keywords in conf files like "cidstart=polarity" in zapata.conf?

Asterisk does not bridge zap channels on outgoing calls
Hello... I have a big problem with asterisk. Every time i make a call
asterisk does not bridge the zap channels. The zap channel from which
i'm calling remains in state:ring and applicaton:dial and the zap

Application:AppDial.

Problem with TDM400P and cidstart=polarity
I'm testing a TDM400P with FXO module to receive incoming calls from an
analogue line and send it to a SIP device.
To recieve callerid, I need to use cidsignalling=dtmf and cidstart=polarity.
The problem is that when a call is finished, the TDM400P seems to require
about 20 seconds to prepare for the next incoming call. If a new call comes
in within 20 seconds after the previous call was

CallerID on Indian PSTN is not working.
Hi,
I am using asterisknow 1.5.0 and Wildcard TDM410P card. Everything is
working fine except the caller ID of incoming call from PSTN line. The phone
display is showing "Unknown" when there is an incoming call. I think the
same problem listed here: https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=6683
There is one patch on this link but i don't know how to apply patch on
asterisknow.

TDM400P not answering or making calls
Hello,
I have recently purchased a TDM400P card with one FXO expansion card,
and I'm having problems.
The card does not pick up incoming calls. Asterisk detects the ringing
line and rings various SIP phones as required. When a sip phone
answers, the sip user hears nothing and the PSTN user continues to
hear ringing. Here is the asterisk output for an incoming call:

Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hey all,
I recently noticed that DTMF caller-ID was implemented in CVS, so
I requested the service from my telco (the Dutch KPN) and tried to get
it going in Asterisk (current CVS), without success so far.
This system has 1 X100P, 2 TDM400P's with 4 FXS-modules each and 2
HFC-PCI ISDN-cards (zaphfc-driver) in it. The analog line I'm
trying to get caller-ID working on is obviously on the

Caller ID on analog line
Hello,
I'm new to asterisk and trying to set up a PBX that's connected to ISDN
on the telecom operator side (Swisscom, Switzerland) and has analog line
on the local side. I use Digium B410PF and AEX2460EF cards.
Globally, everything is working well except that I can't get the CID
sent to the analog phone.
I tried with all combinations of options I could think of and several

X100P callerid ETSI - caller*ID failed checksum
Dear All,
I am a newbie about asterisk. I have 1x X100P card 3x Sip phone
I got aware of problem, after I saw the caller id on my sip phone. I
noticed that if I receive a call from GSM Operator A, I can see caller id.
But any other operator, I got no caller id, even my direct PSTN service
operator. So at that moment I was using *1.0.9. than I changed to
asterisk@home 1.3(1.0.9). I got same

UK (British Telecom) Caller ID again
I've followed the recent thread on caller id with UK British Telecom
networks (where the caller id data is delivered before the first ring).
My understanding is that if I use a recent CVS head (e.g.
CVS-HEAD-09/18/04-17:45:52) and a TDM400 with FXO modules, all I need to
do is include the line:
usecallerid=uk
In my zapata.conf (in the [channels] section)
I've done this, but I get:
