Hello all, I was wondering if anybody knows where one might obtain a PCI ISDN card supporting a single BRI for use with Asterisk in Australia (and using something like chan_capi). Because of the Isdn4Linux DTMF issue, I don't want one of those cards. I've already spent too much time messing about with my current card. I'm after something like the AVM Fritz! cards. Hey all, I have an as5300 I use for dial in customers, we have 4 PRIs on it. We have a few free channels on it. I'm wondering if I setup SIP on the as5300 I can have asterisk use the free channels for dial out. I'd still have to use my TDM04B for incoming calls, but at least I can expand my outgoing. Anyone done anything like this before? I've never messed with VoIP on Cisco

Anyway to make hitting `0` during a voice mail dial an extension? The bosses used to have that feature and love it. Their VM prompt would say: "Hello, My name is blah blah. I am currently unavailable. If you would like to speak to an operator press 0 now, otherwise leave me a message". Extension 0 exists, but dialing it during a VM prompt does nothing. I frequently get this error message, it repeats itself hundred/thousands of times and never stops. chan_sip.c:7467 sipsock_read: Failed to grab lock, trying again... During this period, I can make no SIP calls what-so-ever. The only way I've been able to stop it is to killall -9 asterisk. Doing a restart now doesn't respond. Anyone know why? -- Daniel Jimenez

Hi list, Does chan_capi work with kernel 2.6? The Eicon Diva server card loads fine judging from /var/log/messages but Asterisk gives an error when trying to load the chan_capi module. I'm using chan_capi-0.3.5, zaptel-1.0.0, libpri-1.0.0 and asterisk-1.0.0 on a Fedora box with kernel 2.6.8-1.584. Zaptel and ilbpri work fine as does *. Hello all, This afternoon I had a BRI line installed by Telstra (our telco in Australia). I'm using an Eicon Diva 2.02 PCI ISDN card with the isdn4linux driver. Incoming and outgoing calls with Asterisk work fine (and with no echo - my main reason for getting ISDN). However, I can't seem to get outgoing DTMF working (incoming works fine). As far as I can see the above mentioned card is an active ISDN card but supported by it's own I4L driver.
