ACD
Good day,
Our installation needs a robust ACD application (as I'm sure others
do) that can be dynamically reconfigured (if possible) maybe by a MySQL
database. I have looked at Bill Heckel's ACD work and Andreas Otto's
DynExtendb as well as James Sharp's ACD. None of these seem to be quite
finished. Is there a chance a unified (* blessed) ACD application can be

Info on ACD in Asterisk
Hello Sir,
I have few clarifications as we are planning to work with asterisk.
If you don't mind, please clarify the following:-
Q1. Do Asterisk support ACD functionality?
If Yes, can you give information on how to configure
or work with ACD (and it's usage).
Q2. From the list of features listed in www.asterisk.org , I see
"Predictive dialler" is listed

anywhere else?

ACD ringall + roundrobin
Hi all,
I have a need where ACD ringall and ACD roundrobin ring strategies will
be combined. Basically, ring every agent in a specified order, but
whenever it times out and goes to the next agent, I still need the
previous agent(s) to continue to ring.
I would like to develop this extension myself as a contribution to the
asterisk community. In doing this, where should I start? I've

Rockwell ACD - "Take back and transfer"
Hi all-
I have a customer with a Rockwell Spectrum ACD. They wish to connect
to an asterisk system using euro-ISDN circuits, and asked me if asterisk
supports a feature that they call "Take back and Transfer".
This feature allows an IVR (asterisk in this case) to handle a call and
then blind-transfer it back through the ACD to another extension-
freeing up the asterisk channel.

ACD Methods
Can anyone point me in the right direction of info regarding ACD methods
available in Asterisk.
As far as I can see there are time based ring strategies available but I
cannot find any info regarding skills based routing or queue priorities.
Also do the current time based ring strategies work globally. What I mean
by this is if an agent is a member of more than one queue then would the ACD

Distributed ACD Queues
It seems that I am having a heck of a time explaining my attempts at distributing ACD Queues to the list. Here's one little problem, that's only a piece of the puzzle.

ACD Bug with AddQueueMember Stable
Good Day again list,
Encountered another problem in the ACD queue...

lets assume I called extension 403 from my extension 2204. then
a caller (extension 2203) enters into the techsupport queue
I am able to receive the support call on my phone (extension

ACD Functionality
I have a couple of real quick questions for ya'll. I am trying to setup
* in a test scenario to emulate my company's 20 agent ACD.
1) First, I am curious if anyone has any configs that they can throw up
on the wiki or just send via e-mail. I have a bit of it pieced together
and am able to make some very basic queued calls, but I am sure that
there are much smarter people out there

Asterisk Queue ACD when the queues and agents has the same priority/weight
Hello,
I have three queues (F1,F2,F3) with default queue weight and three
agents (A1,A2,A2) with default agent penalty. If the three agents are
busy and tt same time a caller (C1) enter in the queue F1, and after
20 seconds a second caller (C2) enter in the queue F2. So, few seconds
later, the agent (A1) state comes to availabe. In this case the
asterisk deliveries the caller (C2) to agent (A1),

Which GUI for ACD edition ?
Hello,
I want to safely delegate ACD edition to a system administrator who has no
knowledge of Linux nor Asterisk.
More precisely, I want him to be able to edit and change menus such as :
"Type 1 for management; 2 for support; 3 for sales department".
I could teach this administrator what Asterisk config files are but I'm
wondering if any GUI exists for such task (editing a vocal

Fitting ACD model
Hi - I'm wondering if there is any existing package in R that
facilitates ACD (Autoregressive Conditional Duration) model. I
googled. Apparently there were packages dynamo and fACD. However, they
do not seem to be on any CRAN. I am wondering if anyone could point me
to an existing package (if any). Thank you.

ACD/queues question
Hi there,
Does anyone know how to setup an overflow queue? When a call rings on
the queue A, if all agents were busy, the call goes to the queue B.
If all agents in queue B were busy, then the call stays on both queues
until somebody answers it.
I think this is a basic ACD feature available on most PBX that support
ACD functionality.
Does anybody knows how to do it with asterisk??

distribuited ACD on many asterisk nodes
Dear All
i'm planning to develop for a customer a particular implementation of Asterisk.
The aim of the project is to share different users between different
Asterisk inbound call center .
I'm planning to have a sync for some of the QueueMemberStatus
informations between all the nodes, then a particular (external) ACD
algorithm will decide to transfer a parked call to the final user.

We could not get any announcement as expected.
Iam useing the latest CVS-head
Even weight also doesnot seem to work properly
I tried like this where we have two queues one with
100
weight and another with 200 as weight when both enter
into the queue when queue is empty when

is there a queue size call limit on the ACD?
Hi all
does anyone knows if there is a parameter to limit the amount of calls
on an ACD Queue?
I saw somewhere a reference to a QUEUESIZE paramter but couldn't find
anything else.
This is to work as a backup plan for very specific emergency situations,
for example I have 60 channels available, and usually at midnight only
3 operators are needed to handle a normal flow. But on some
