Does Wildcard x100p support BT Caller ID in UK?
Hi all,
I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere on the web, except that BT
caller ID doesnt use the standard bellcore system in use in the US. So, if
anyone here in the UK is onlist and using the x100p successfully, please let
me know.
TIA,
Dave

Danish callerid on a x100p card
Hi
I've got a cheap card from x100p.com for my pots line. I haven't found a
definate answer if it is possible to get danish(DTMF without signaling
before it). I have had a look at bug #9 but that is
written longtime ago.
I am running zaptel 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.14 BRIstuffed 0.4.0-test4 both
from the xorcom debian packages. I believe they should contain some kind
functionality for DTMF

X100P echo problems - seem to be fixed now
For those that have had X100P echo problems, it seems that somewhere just
prior to Asterisk CVS-12/04/03-14:24:40 it has been fixed to where its hardly
detectable for just a couple of seconds at the start of a call. (I use to
have it rather bad for the first 15 seconds or so.)
I'm using DECHO_CAN_MARK2 with KFLAGS+=-DAGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR and

Lucent Partner extension to X100P
Hi All...
I'm currently trying to have an extension of my Lucent Partner phone
system connected to Asterisk using an X100P. The issue I'm having is
that the Lucent Partner analog port connection have different ring and
dialtone than the one specified for US in indications.conf.
Anyone have accomplished this connection before. I need to know what I
should use for the different

X100P ring detection failure
My home * system I use for test/dev stuff has recently started to miss
all calls.
I have two of the "X100P" boards from x100p.com that are about a year
old in it. They both have worked in the past no problem.
At some point in the past couple of weeks they both stopped answering
the phone. I don't have a specific date because only I and a couple
of other people call in on those

X100P dial out problem
Hi all!
I'm new to asterisk and I'm trying a simple config with:
- Debian GNU/Linux (unstable)
- last version of Asterisk
- a X100P card
I have a problem with dial out from a SIP software phone (XLITE) to a
public number (ex. my mobile phone), asterisk start the call, but nothing
happen...
If I run "ztmonitor 1" I can see the right RX level and if I try to make a
call with an

x100p not showing in core show channels
Hi,
I recently decided to change my setup from AsteriskNow to plain-asterisk
1.4, which I wanted to set up and configure myself on a server running
Debian Etch 64bit version.
Hardware:
Asrock motherboard, model 775Dual880-Pro, with a Celeron D running at
2.8GHz, 1GB memory, standard Nvidia GF4MX videocard, and one X100P clone
card.
Running the AsteriskNow, everything worked fine, except for

Install X100P and TDM400P Asterisk cards!
Hi!
I currently have the X100P and TDM400P Asterisk cards. For obtaining
Asterisk PBX: I have no direct connection to internet, so I use ftp and
download the neweast packages: zaptel-0.7.0, libpri-0.4.0,
asterisk-0.5.0.
The environment I compiled the tool:
PC (HP): Intel PIII 500 MHz
OS: Red Hat Linux 8.0 (Upgrade from Red Hat Linux 7.1).
When I compile the first package (zaptel-0.7.0), I

Brazillian Caller ID: almost there...
Hello,
Talking with Soren Sratje about Caller ID in Brazil, we compare ours
DTMF tones captured by ztmonitor. wcfxo correctly recognize the "DTMF
CLIP" and asterisk shot the AST_STATE_PRERING correctly.
But the DTMF tones are not reconized. In the chan_zap.c, the code:
if (f->frametype == AST_FRAME_DTMF) {
(...)
Does not occurs because the frametype is always reconized as voice

X-Lite, X100P, and Speex
I'm having a problem with using X-Lite to initiate a call via Asterisk out
an X100P analog port, using the Speex codec. I've put in the registry fix
for X-Lite and Speex so that works OK, and calling the echo test extension
works. However, if I call out the analog port it appears that audio being
initiated by X-Lite is being dropped, but audio being initiated from the
analog line is

X100P Clone not picking up incoming calls. [POTS]
Hello All,
I have this strange problem,
I can dial out with my sip phone and it seems to work relatively well, but
when I call in, the line just rings and rings, I get no indication in
asterisk that it's detecting an incoming call.
The strange thing is that in ztmonitor 1 -vv the rx volume goes from around
99% when the line is idle to 0% as soon as the line starts ringing.
I'm located

BT / X100P impedance matching
I understand that the X100P card is matched to a 600 ohm impedance but the
UK BT phone system is not (I haven't been able to find much information on
the impedance of the UK system).
Has anyone come up with an easy way to match the impedance between the two
so the X100P can work in the UK? Presumably a simple transformer won't do
the job since it won't pass the DC components?

Caller ID with BT CD50
Hi All,
Having searched the archives, I can see there has been much discussion
at various points regarding capture of caller id information from good
old BT.
If I understand correctly, it seems that not only do the drivers not
currently support it, but my X101P possibly/probably can't do it anyway
due to hardware?
So, that leaves me with the modem route, which seems more and more
unlikely,

tdm (and x100p?) echo - fix is coming!
Good news!
FYI, worked with Mark this afternoon to test changes needed to reduce
or eliminate echo involving pstn calls on the new tdm fxo card (bug
#1902).
Three simple source code changes (testing-only at this point) resulted
in zero detectable echo on all incoming and outgoing tdm pstn calls,
even in the first second or two. I've not noticed any unusual side
effects at all. Since the

ztmonitor displays full bar when idle
Hardware is an SM56 card (X100P clone). When the line hangs up, ztmonitor
displays full bar (or whatever maximum allowed by rxgain) in RX. It only
drops zero when the line picks up (and remote was silent). Is this
something of concern? The zap channel seems to work despite echo.
Additionally, what's the objective of tuning with ztmonitor? I mean, what
would indicate an optimal level?

DTMF from TDM400P and X100P
With one IVR payment system, I noticed quite a difference in DTMF
transmission between these two cards. The IVR missed nearly all digits from
X100P, while receiving digits from TDM fine.
Since neither card process or synthesize audio, what can the difference be?
(This particular IVR has problem with some regular phone devices, too.)

Proper use of echotraining=yes
If you have echo on the X100P's Mark setup chan_zap to pretrain the echo
can, but it had a few issues until today which Mark nailed down the bug
that caused the DTMF to be unreliable.
Ok here is how you would do it:
in your zapata.conf.sample:
; In some cases, the echo canceller doesn't train quickly enough and there
; is echo at the beginning of the call. Enabling echo training will

Ztmonitor values when zap channel is onhook
Hello,
In my quest to figure out the source of the random echo on our shiny new
asterisk install, I have been using ztmonitor on the TDM400p channels
for the good part of today.
I have 2 TDM400p cards with 8 FXO modules and 6 pots lines connected to
them (last 2 channels are unused but configured in zaptel). Even when
the lines are onhook, the Tx values settle down to 0 but the Rx values

Echo calibration with ztmonitor and a testlinefrom a telco
The value of 14800 is correct.
I had issues with my TDM400p with 2x FXO's installed and using the Xlite client. I could not get the echo stable at the initial call.
Changing to a hard phone made everything work correctly. I still had problems with the off location I called, but mostly worked great.
To see the TX gain I created an extension with the Milliwatt command attached to it and called
