Hi folks A common wisdom here is that one should use a proper hardware phone rather that an extra software on the user's PC. Why is that such a big issue? One thing that bothers me with the current crop of hardware SIP phones is that they are hopelessly properitary. So what would it take to build a fully-adaptable phone? Here are some of my thoughts. Hello list, I'm having some troubles with DTMF tones. When pressing numbers on a Snom phone, the DTMF-signal takes too long. I have the following in sip.conf : dtmfmode = rfc2833 which works well for Grandstream, Yealink and Cisco phones. But not for Snom. Snom support tells me I should use SIP info. hi We are using snome 200 IP phone with *. It works OK. But after a period of time we can't hear any sounds for any icoming or outgoing calls. I've got two of these phones. Same symptoms occur to both of these( not at the same time ) and the problem remains until the phone is completely rebooted. Don't know whether this's * or Snomes' prob. Any help would be appreciated.
