I tried passing SIGTERM to the sshd user process after applying the patch
(id=821) and it is not cleaning up the wtmp entries. What would be needed in the
patch additionaly so that proper pid is passed at the time of cleaning wtmp
entries when SIGTERM is

I have some idea. But before trying them, I need one clarification, the
attachment id=615 deals with aging in auth-shadow.c. Is this checking of
password aging in /etc/passwd should be done there or moved to auth-passwd.c.
which would be the right place?

augeas and /etc/securetty
Hi, I need to add one line to /etc/securetty, say it needs to be ttyS1. Do
not add it if ttyS1 already exists in file /etc/securetty.
How to achieve this using puppet module in puppet 2.5? This file is
different than the other examples using augeas, this one only has value per
line, not name-val pair.
Thanks,
Hai

unable to login with LDAP when set Uselogin to yes
Hi,
I am not sure this is a bug in Openssh or not.
I am running Openssh 4.1p1. with openssl 0.9.7g
Scenario:
Due to audit enabled on the system, I will need to set Uselogin to yes so
that audit will track system call.
But when try to login to system with a LDAP user. I get the following.
eg:
[n113839 at r3ent15pc ~]$ ssh tfstst1 -l ntesting1
