This is a minor release of Shorewall.
In this release:
1. RFC1918 checking in the mangle table has been streamlined to no
longer require packet marking.
2. A ''check'' command has been added that does a cursory
validation of
the zones, interfaces, hosts, rules and policy files.
3. UPnP probes (UDP port 1900) are now silently dropped unless
explictly ACCEPTed.
4. The lock file name in the default shorewall.conf has been corrected
(non-LRP/LEAF releases).
5. A number of bugs have been fixed including removing the lock file and /tmp=20
files when an error occurs or one of the programs is terminated.
Note: Sourceforge is off-line currently. As soon as they are back, I will=20
upload 1.2.7.
