All, I hear tell that neither Streamlined nor ActiveScaffold support the use of has_many :through relationships in the sense that HM:T relationships will effectively be read-only in those frameworks. Since we know the spot in the RB tree where the split off extent is going, streamline the insertion process for the new extent. Just compile tested, it''s really a question of how deep trees are expected to be (quite deep, I''d suspect), and how often splits are done (have no clue). I could do c(which(x==2),which(x==3)) but isn't there something more streamlined? My first guess was y=c(2,3) which(x==y) integer(0) which doesn't work. I haven't found any clue in the R manual.
