I was interested in the range support / stream seeking on static files, since that would be a really useful feature for my clients. Hi Everybody, It works with Peercast because Peercast receives the headers from Icecast2 and sends its own headers back to the client (Winamp, WMP, Real...). Remember that Peercast is a client AND a server... I guess Peercast doesn't send back the headers in the same way than Icecast2. Maybe Peercast doesn't use ICY/X-audiocast. Talking about Real (v9.0 and 10), I already got the metadata displayed from Icecast but I didn't check...

Hello, I've successfully installed Icecast 2.0.2 and Ices 0.4, configured and started them. The logs show no errors, but while I'm able to stream to Winamp 5, it doesn't work with WMP 9 or 10. The latter simply downloads the file and even halts when it reaches a certain point. This is the mountpoint's URL: http://www.zambra.com:8080/musica Has any of you experienced this behavior before?
