hello everyone Please pardon my ignorance, i new in the forum, new to Linux and to WINE... i know that Linux and WINE are not in love with ATI cards (yet), but i recently install the newer proprietary drivers (10-12) and so far it seems fine under Linux, i have 3D acceleration and everything, i even install compiz and it awesome... also under wine I install a game and it work really nice,

hi :-) got the same problem with 9.10 x64, nVidia 185 and wine 1.1.38 and 1.1.39. Splinter Cell Double Agent crash on start up

Steam crashes upon launching (Mint Katya)
I had just installed Linux Mint katya on my Dell Dimension 5000 computer because Windows kept making it lag and so on. I installed Wine and Steam soon after installing it, but whenever I tried to launch Steam it always crashes and quits as soon as the welcome and update screens pop up. I've googled for solutions to this problem and they have come to nil.

World of warcraft shuts down
Running openSUSE 1.11, gnome desktop and wine 1.1.9. (WoW patch 3.1.3) WoW just shuts down, no errors, no warnings, no nothing.. There is no indications of a crash it just plain shuts down as if I'd hit alt+f4. Anyone having the same problem?
