Running openSUSE 1.11, gnome desktop and wine 1.1.9. (WoW patch 3.1.3) WoW just shuts down, no errors, no warnings, no nothing.. There is no indications of a crash it just plain shuts down as if I'd hit alt+f4. Anyone having the same problem?

There is no indications of a crash it just plain shuts down as if I'd hit alt+f4. Anyone having the same problem?Have you tried the suggestions from the winedb page for stability that might apply to your system, some of those might help. I would also suggest moving up to a newer wine version, try 1.1.20. Otherwise sending us some more info on your system might help: 32 or 64 bit, how much memory, video card and driver, etc.

I'm running a 32bit system, 2gb ram, Intel Core Duo 1.6Ghz, Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 512mb (x11-video-nvidiaG02 180.51)
i am seeing the exact same behaviour on 2 of my systems. Both are running Jaunty x86_64, wine 1.1.22, AMD Dual Core chips, and Nvidia Cards with 180 drivers. When I run it manually this is what i get Code: x at x:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/World of Warcraft$ wine Wow.exe fixme:advapi:SetSecurityInfo stub archive Data\enUS\patch-enUS.MPQ opened archive Data\patch.MPQ opened archive Data\enUS\patch-enUS-2.MPQ opened archive Data\patch-2.MPQ opened archive Data\expansion.MPQ opened archive Data\lichking.MPQ opened archive Data\common.MPQ opened archive Data\common-2.MPQ opened archive Data\enUS\locale-enUS.MPQ opened archive Data\enUS\speech-enUS.MPQ opened archive Data\enUS\expansion-locale-enUS.MPQ opened archive Data\enUS\lichking-locale-enUS.MPQ opened archive Data\enUS\expansion-speech-enUS.MPQ opened archive Data\enUS\lichking-speech-enUS.MPQ opened fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39edac,0x00000000), stub! fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps OpenGL implementation supports 32 vertex samplers and 32 total samplers fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps Expected vertex samplers + MAX_TEXTURES(=8) > combined_samplers fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39ebd0,0x00000000), stub! fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps OpenGL implementation supports 32 vertex samplers and 32 total samplers fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps Expected vertex samplers + MAX_TEXTURES(=8) > combined_samplers fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f0a8,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f2dc,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f3f0,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f588,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f584,0x00000000), stub! fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps OpenGL implementation supports 32 vertex samplers and 32 total samplers fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps Expected vertex samplers + MAX_TEXTURES(=8) > combined_samplers fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f5dc,0x00000000), stub! fixme:d3d:WineD3D_ChoosePixelFormat Add OpenGL context recreation support to SetDepthStencilSurface err:d3d:getColorBits Unsupported format: WINED3DFMT_R16G16_FLOAT err:d3d:getColorBits Unsupported format: WINED3DFMT_R32_FLOAT fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f008,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39f140,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39deec,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39df24,0x00000000), stub! fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps OpenGL implementation supports 32 vertex samplers and 32 total samplers fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps Expected vertex samplers + MAX_TEXTURES(=8) > combined_samplers fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39dee0,0x00000000), stub! fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECT_TIMEOUT (5000): STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT 5000 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECT_TIMEOUT (5000): STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT 5000 fixme:reg:GetNativeSystemInfo (0x374040a4) using GetSystemInfo() fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONTEXT_VALUE; STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONTEXT_VALUE; STUB fixme:imm:ImmReleaseContext (0x40030, 0x13adf8): stub fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39dae4,0x00000000), stub! failed to open C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Data/Interface/Icons failed to open C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Interface/Icons err:seh:raise_exception Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr 0x7bc459da x at x:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/World of Warcraft$ exact same error on both systems

I didn't see a tag in the start line of your error messages. > WoW is usually more stable in opengl.I have ran it both with and without opengl to see if that made a difference and it didnt. The output I posted was after blowing away the Interface/Addons and WTF/ directories
