Sveasoft Alchemy QOS
I just bought two new Linksys WRT54G routers. Sveasoft has loaded Linux on this router and included a bunch of Linux tools, one of which is Bandwidth Management. The QoS aspect of this is supposed to be much more granular than the previous solution (Wonder Shaper). I have not been able to find any suggestions for how to impliment QoS (Bandwidth Management) using the web interface of Alchemy.

Snom 360 flickering screen
Hi guys. I just bought and configured a Snom 360 and have noticed that the LCD is constantly flickering at a rate of ~10-15Hz (that's a guess). Either way, it's very distracting. Has anyone else encountered this before? Any solutions? Dates in C api
r-devel, I've been trying to write a C plugin for R, and I'm struggling to understand how dates are represented. I can create a date in R: > mydate<-as.Date(1, origin="1900-01-01") mydate [1] "1900-01-02" When I pass my date to a plugin, though, it's type is that of a real. There doesn't seem to be a date type in Rinternals.h, is there a way to

How to print a double quote
Can anyone tell me how to get R to include a double quote in the middle of a character string? For example, the following code is close: > fnd<-"Open fnd 'test'" > cat(fnd) Open fnd 'test'> > But instead of Open fnd 'test' I need: Open fnd "test". Difference seems minor, but I am writing batch files for another

Open Source Content Management System - Joomla
There was some discussion in the past about which one is the best Content Management System that can be used in conjunction with Asterisk. Mambo was supposed to be the best out there under GPL. The guys who developed Mambo have a new product now - Joomla. I am using this and it appears to be better than Mambo in many respects. Read the gist about Joomla below. ------------- If you've read

Multi-Tenant Parking
Has anyone managed to get multi-parking lot call parking working correctly? I've had several attempts at it, and never seem to be able to get it to go properly - (actually, at all): I've most recently done this with 1.6.1.x, and now 1.6.2.x, with no luck in either case. What I've been "trying" is the following: features.conf [general] parkext => 100 [featuremap]

SAMBA installation
hi, just wanted to introduce myself. My company is currently running a very old version of Samba - 2.0.7. I have been upgrading our UNIX systems this past month and have reached Samba. I know, if this is anything like the past upgrades over the last few weeks, I will need some support. Nothing has installed successfully the first time around. I downloaded version 3.0.4 and will be

Are there any switchvox/fonality type Asterisk based PBXs where I can buy just the software? I don't want to buy their 'bundles' that come with junky PC hardware. I just want their software/GUI to run on my hardware. Does Asterisk BE come with a GUI management console for managing phones, queues, VM and the like? -Matt -- Matthew S. SIP WEB Phone (Wanna implement Click to Call)
Hi, I appreciate it if someone knows what is available for SIP web phones out there. I am interested in putting a soft phone on a website that registers with Asterisk using SIP. Then, when someone uses it, it directly calls into an asterisk call queue.. Any ideas? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
