Icecast - Jan 2007 - Icecast Won't Authenticate by URL (Previous Threads Didn't Help)

I have this bit in my icecast xml conf:

But the mount_add page is not called at any one point. This is what `wget -S
http://baraka/~revence/sauti/notify_mount.php`<http://baraka/%7Erevence/sauti/notify_mount.php%60>returns:

So the PHP script would stop icecast from running (by not returning
`icecast-auth-user: 1'), but that doesn't work. I have ensured that the
script works fine, by making it log access.

 From your description, it sounds like you have a build of icecast that 
does not include libcurl.
